O'NEILL HEALTHCARE MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS

This place was nice when my mother was in long term care. But with 3 yrs the place turned into a circus. The nurses and most of the aides were nice, patient, and provided good care but never enough staff. Mom had to wait for 2hrs to have her diaper changed. Many shower days were skipped because there were not enough aides. Once she had called an aide. Mom's voice was hoarse. Aide said she couldn't understand her and walked away. Another aide refused to bring her a breakfast tray because mom signed up for breakfast with the activity people. But she was too sick to go. I reported these incidents to the nursing director but nothing came of it. And so many billing errors. I just received a bill for two dates for transportation for May. Mom passed away in April. Did they dig her up and take her to a Dr appointment? This place has turned into a dump. No nursing home is perfect but this is unacceptable.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I wouldn’t send a soul I love to live here even just for therapy. A lot of the staff are terrible people ESPECIALLY management. The way they talk to their staff is unacceptable and seems there is a lot of division in the job which affects the care for residents. Amanda (Administrator) does not know how to talk to staff or run the building, she is extremely rude and should work on how she speaks to her staff, Jennifer (DON) yells at staff but picks and chooses. I’ve witnessed staff yell and curse each other out including telling management what they will or won’t do. They both provide unfair treatment and should honestly undergo an investigation. I have been very observant of this building during each visit and overall the energy is negative and they do not really care. It is more drama amongst staff that they forget they are here to care for those who no longer can care for themselves. Get rid of the whole management from the kitchen to the floor bring in a new team who is not afraid to do their job and actually care. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! If they are transferred in from the hospital TAKE THEM OUT IMMEDIATELY.

My mother spent a short time at the facility, but the care was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member was incredibly kind and caring, from the front desk to the nurses and aides.

The staff was caring and kind..they were very professional. Therapy staff was great to work with and assisted me in meeting my goals. Would highly recommend this facility

Through circumstances in life I had to put my wife in Oneills Middleburgh Hts she received the best care from the Nurses to house keeping and our Administration staff who worked very hard to keep up with appointments and medicine.I would highly recommend Oneill for a loved ones care
