Staff are friendly and polite. Food is great! My Mom looks a lot better now. I'm believing that God will work it out that my Mom stays there. I'm working on that by the grace and mercy of God. I know that is best for my Mom. God will never forsake me!!! God will provide the finances that are needed, by faith I know this. I'm not giving up. I'm believing until the end. God bless everyone at Wooldrige Place Nursing Center.

I had inpatient and outpatient physical and occupational therapy after two surgeries. About half the nurses are knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. Another quarter of the nurses get their job done and their noses clean, but nothing special. But, about a quarter of the nurses working there in June of 2025 are horrible people that do not care about the patient and have a mightier than thou attitude. They do not help you and they withhold pain medicines. They were not just unkind, they were flat out bullies. However, that was just a handful of the nurses. The food wasn’t five star but most of the time it was pretty darn tasty. The entertainment staff was always throwing parties for the residents and there were daily activities that were extremely fun! The office staff could be a little stuffy, but the front desk gal was one of the most kind ladies I ever met. She made Wooldridge Place feel like a home with a great big family residing there. BUT, the best part about Wooldridge Place Nursing Center has got to be the therapists! I’m not going to name them because I do not want to forget anyone. But, both the physical and occupational therapists were the best I have ever had anywhere in the coastal bend. Knowledgeable, kind, hardworking, I can’t say enough good things about them. You could tell they spent extra time away from Wooldridge place thinking of new ways to help each patient, taking into consideration all of the patients issues, and coming up with innovative ways to improve the life of each one of the patients. They each deserve big bonuses for Christmas. They go above and beyond every day!

Today I was greeted with smiles! I’m happy for everyone who meets the needs of my sister Brenda Meyer. And the freedom to walk the halls and pray for some whom the Lord lays on my heart. Blessings to all of you working at this facility. God bless each of you. 11/20/25 My visit was great! I’m always welcomed by staff. 5 stars for sure!!

First of all the staff , the nurses, the CNA’s are all so friendly, empathetic, professional and like family. My husband has been a resident for three years and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. I know he is getting taken care of and they contact me anytime there is a question. It always smells amazing and is always clean! It’s a hard job and they have it all taken care of in every department 100%.

I don’t know everybody’s name I only know for you that’s Rhonda the other lady that greet you in the front door with a lot of compassion and love. They’re so sweet. It doesn’t feel like a nursing home. It feels like a second home. I treated my husband with a lot of care, it felt like a home from home away from home The nurses Marie, the CNA Martin Robbie might not say that name right Letty they were great CNA’s. The midnight nurse nurses are great. I don’t remember her name, but she had beautiful blonde hair and she was so tiny but so strong she went beyond her duty to look for my husband something that he needed. Mary I guess she was the afternoon nurse. She was great with my husband. My husband has a lot of respect for her. She was so compassion and show so much affection and won’t be on her duty. The other ladies I don’t know their names. They knew they needed more help with my husband and they give me their opinions and their opinions mean a lot to me. They show so much concern for their patience and I need to thank all the ladies and gentlemen that care for my husband. They were great. This place was fantastic. I have no complaints. It’s like I said a home from away from home a second home. Great job guys I appreciate everything and may God bless you all. You’re so sweet. There’s no words I can say to show how much I appreciate how much you took care of my husband and show him so much compassion They really do care about their patients. I read them as a 2020 Star Pl. thank you so much.
