OTTERBEIN-CRIDERSVILLE

Jen, Carley, and Eva are amazing people! They will go above and beyond to help you out. Everyone is so nice and friendly, the food at the café looks good. I, honestly, can't wait to try the food. The maintenance crew is on top of things. When we went and looked at the patio home my father-in-law was going to be moving into, maintenance put in a ramp to the garage and moved the handles on the fridge and freezer right away. You think you are in a regular neighborhood because it does not have the nursing home vibe like most places. The patio homes have pull cord in the bathroom, bedrooms, and living room, so your loved ones always have a way to call for help if needed. My husband and I feel more at ease with his father at Otterbein knowing if we're out of town, at work, or have a lot going on his father will always be taken care of and safe. And the amazing part is once your loved one is in Otterbein the staff will automatically move your loved one with no charge as their health deteriorates. My father in law has been in his patio home for 4 days and we can already tell difference in his attitude and personality. I highly recommend this place

Absolutely Heartbreaking! My grandpa recently passed away in January and he would always make sure the flower beds were taken good care of and blooming in the spring and summer. Last Friday a group of guys came in and cut everything out. I would always help Grandpa plant the flowers and pull the weeds and now everything that I helped him plant and take care of is gone. Thanks for destroying that things that created the happiest memories of all Otterbein! I will never forgive you! Here are some before and after pictures below. I am in total disbelief that everything me and Grandpa did is gone!

Hello this is Beverly Krouskop. I live here at Otterbein Cridersville and I would like to share my experience with their therapy department. I had a stroke in 2009, and got along great but then I started having trouble again. Hallelujah, I got to go to the therapy dept at Otterbein Cridersville. Let me tell you I have been to three different therapy depts and they dont come close to what my friends here at Otterbein did for me. I would give them a ten star if I could. I no longer have to use my cane with short distances. They are so determined to get you back to your best. They showed me all the things that I needed to do to keep getting better. I continue to get to do all my exercises and use the warm water pool here to keep my strength up. I cant thank the therapy dept enough. If you need therapy I know they can help you too! In ending of my experience with the therapy dept. I want to send all my blessings and to keep up the good work. I love them all.

Otterbein is a very clean facility. The staff was awesome. When my father had to go to rehab and eventually long-term care, they were absolutely the best. They were always helpful and went the extra step to make sure my father was comfortable. They became family to us

When we were looking for a facility for my parents, Caring.com made suggestions for us. We looked at quite a few places and found that Otterbein Cridersville was the best choice for independent living for them. They gave us a really good deal. We talked with Nicole, who was very kind and answered all of our questions. It was a good experience. The homes are very nice. The facility is clean and maintained and everyone is very friendly. There are a lot of activities that my parents can be involved in if they want. There is a pool, gym, and salon, and a very nice dining room for them to use also.
