ALLEGIANT WELLNESS AND REHAB

I was very impressed with this rehab center. Not only was it very clean, which was important to my Uncle, but they took care of him in every way. He went there not being able to walk well and he was very weak. He was struggling with kidney failure and heart disease. The staff was very attentive to all of his needs.My Uncle was getting PT and OT as directed by his doctors. Doctors were always changing his medicines to try to help him and they were on top of that as well. They made sure my Uncle had the best of care. We had searched many rehab centers and my uncle was in a couple before this one that were horrible. We were so pleased with Allegiant Wellness, I highly recommend it to anyone.

I picked the ALLEGIANT Wellness Rehab Center because of location. My father had a stroke and he needed rehab, and I wanted to be able to see him as often as possible. Once I checked my father in, I realized I picked the right rehab center. I knew they would take care of my father as well if not better than I would. When something in your family happens it is a very scary moment and the people at ALLEGIANT Wellness Rehab Center made me feel comfortable and I felt my dad was safe.

Had my mom here who recently just went through hip surgery. The small amount of the nice employees are the only redeeming qualities. Majority she encountered were either inconsiderate or rude. None of them didn't know she went through hip surgery so she had to tell them so they can be more cautious of how they handle her. Consistently gave her pills that they had no idea what they were for which is very alarming since they need to know that they're giving her the right ones. Multiple times where she needed help but it took nurses 30+ mins or even on one occasion almost an hour for her to receive help. Lied about her not participating in therapy where in reality she already made her decision 1 or 2 days in that she was gonna transfer to another rehab facility and also she had dialysis to deal with that would make it harder on those days anyway. Which also the case manager knew that she wanted to transfer early on and still decided to practically keep her hostage so she can prove her participation without even trying to find out if she participated at the hospital, which she definitely did. Another nurse from this facility lied to the hospital she went back to that she slept all the time but we found out she had issues with her thyroid. Overall I wouldn't recommend this facility at all. Realistically I would give it a half star and the only reason I wouldn't give it zero stars is basically at least there's still a handful of nurses here that seemed to give a damn.

Alex is the best!! His humor and the way he works with the patients is what you want for your loved one. We will miss seeing him when we leave.

Don't see much rehab being done . 30 minutes a day spent with the patient is inadequate. Understaffed . No enthusiasm to truly help the patient recover in order to go home. No mental stimulation . Very disappointed. I have had friends & loved ones in rehabilitation care over many years . This does not compare to any rehabilitation facility I have ever had a patient in over the past 50 years .
