This facility has not changed since my dad was here in 2018. It was Manor Care then. It has gotten worse since then. My dad was here for 3 days. After raising enough Hell, we were able to get him to a much better facility. Now, my Uncle is here. 5 weeks and they didn’t know he had a pacemaker maker. They will not let him take his own prescriptions. He has to take what they have. He has gone down hill since he got here. Nobody will listen to him or my Aunt. This place doesn’t care about your loved ones. They only care about their electronic devices. After pushing the help button while I was visiting, it took them 2 hours to come to his room. No excuse for that. If I could give less than one star I would.

My mother had a tour scheduled with Taylor. We got there and were ignored at first by the receptionist. When we were finally acknowledged, she called Taylor’s office but got no answer. We were directed to sit and wait. Several minutes later, we happened to overhear someone on staff telling a resident that Taylor was off that day. So we told the staff member that we were supposed to be meeting with Taylor. To this woman’s credit, she did actually try to help. She told another staffer about it, and he apparently told her he’d make some calls. We never heard anything else from the staff. We did, however, witness two residents who were very dissatisfied with the facility while we waited for assistance that should never have been needed. Don’t bother contacting this place; trying to find care (especially memory care) for a loved one is stressful enough without having to deal with staff who are disinterested at best.

If I could give it less than one star I would. I was there for about 10 days. No human being should have to live like that. Smell is probably the worst thing. My roommate soiled his pants every few days and I had to smell it while they got it cleaned up. The place has a continual smell of urine. The food was adequate but always cold. I was there for physical rehab. The rooms for the people who are there for 2 or 3 week temporary rehab (of which there are only a few) are across the hall from mentally disabled who where there for long term. There were constantly people crying for help and shouting out for other things. It was very unsettling. Therapy was not scheduled for a time, it was done when the therapist felt like. They would come in any time of day and rush me off to half hour to 45 minutes of therapy and the rest of the 24 hours I just hung out around my room. This place is inhumane

Adding 2 my review after almost 2 weeks of my mom's stay. The care is excellent. The staff is professional and cheerful. They are conscientious of cleanliness of the residents and the facility. Food is still sub-par, some days are better than others. The phone situation is problematic. As mentioned from my first review below, the website says every resident has their own phone. This is not true. My father tried to reach my mom all day today and each time he called, he was told the remote phone was in use. This is unacceptable, as we have no means to communicate with my mom. Still holding at 2 stars as these issues need to be addressed by the facility. My mom arrived today. I am only giving this 2 stars because so far the staff (aside from the front desk) was wonderful, accommodating, and very friendly. The place is very clean and has no unpleasant odors like some facilities do. However, I'm not sure what qualifications their nutritionist has, because the first meal (dinner) was not something I would feed to my dogs. My mom was presented with a "sub". A sub has deli meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The item on my mom's plate was mystery meat stuffed into a stale hot dog roll. WTH? She struggled to eat 2/3 of it and gave up. Also, the website says each resident has their own phone. This is NOT true. There isn't even a phone in the room. I will review again after a week and at the end of my mom's stay. I really hope I can offer a better score.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would . This place is absolutely terrible. They do not care about the patients there. All they like to do is turn them into zombies! Absolutely disgusting! I wouldn't even send my dog to this place
