This facility is CLEAN! They clean my dad's room twice a day. The staff is amazing! They are pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This is my dad's second admission, and his first choice for skilled nursing care and rehab. April 2025.

The Denton nursing and rehab has a friendly staff and very helpful in your needs. the nursing staff done my meds and dressing on time daily and PT got me up and going. The food is really good with a homemade taste, the rooms are cleaned daily and restocked if needed. Activities are designed to help patients to get out and associate with other residents and staff. They have activity such as movie time, bingo, cooking. Reading and coloring for people who can't get out of bed or their room. This is my second stay and I would stay again if needed, it's a good place. They have made a difference in my life and I thank each and every one of them!

First and foremost to call this place a health care facility is just rubbish. My aunt has been in this facility for a year and it has been completely uncomfortable, problematic, and insane . Management is horrendous. Every time I have visited her there was problems , On Sept. 24th there was only one RN in the whole building which is completely negligent , and unsafe ..im sure there should be a mandated nurse to patient ratio. What if there was an emergency! Anyway on that day a nurse offered to stay but was rejected by a superior nurse , leaving her the only nurse for the ENTIRE building. ( that is very dangerous ) For this facility that is the norm because its never staffed specifically with RN's, because of that they over work their aids . NEXT lets get to how the LPN have reason to believe they dont have to respond to patient call bells or help the aids out . I work in the medical field and knowing that the patients are Top Priority i can firmly say that at this facility your loved ones are not getting the care, attention, or treatment they need or deserve. I would highly recommend getting a camera aswell because your personal property is not safe !!!!! I have also witnessed homeless people being housed , No air circulation causing floors to be wet because of the ventilation issues and they tell the residents to just open their window. Mold and mildew is seen throughout this place . The residents weekend activities got cut because of buget but where is the money going if the place is A mess , its under-staffed and despite that they still cut hours .THIS FACILITY NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED BY A HEALTH INSPECTOR AND INVESTIGATED !! I CAN WRITE A BOOK ON EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN TO MY AUNTE ALONE SO PLEASE TALK TO YOUR LOVED ONES MAKE SURE THEY ARE BEING TREATED FAIRLY AND GETTING THE CARE THAT THEY NEED , DONT JUST PUT ANYTHING UNDER THE RUG STAND UP AND REACH OUT . THIS PLACE DESERVE -100,000 STARS

My brother has been to many rehabs and was pleasantly surprised to be sent here on his most recent need for care The reviews available were not good but our experience here so far has been great. Caring considerate staff, promptly respond to requests. As a visitor everyone we have come in contact with has been more than friendly and positive! Special shout out to Shelby, Courtney and Jermaine for going above and beyond today! The food is very good also!

If I could rate this place a negative times a million…then I would. My Aunt B passed away in this horrific place on October 8th. They didn’t call my other Aunt, nor my cousin (who was the back up emergency contact), to let them know she had passed. My Aunt M went in yesterday to take my Aunt B to a doctors appointment…to then be told she had passed away on the 8th. TWO WEEKS and they contacted NO ONE on her emergency contact list!!!!! My Aunt B died completely alone and she didn’t have to. She has many family members who would have rushed to be there with her and/or in the aftermath of her passing. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES IN THE ‘CARE’ OF THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!! UPDATE 10/25/23::: They are LYING in their response below. Not only did my Aunt M go in and change the POA contact information…back in May…she was a regular visitor and often came to take my Aunt B to doctors appointments. Funny how their billing department knew exactly who to send the monthly bills to…yet didn’t have current contact information?!? Also???? Two of their care staff know my family and could have easily let the admin know who to contact when my Aunt B passed. They are trying to hide something and place blame on my Aunt M. So unbelievable and horrific. I have already filed a formal complaint with the ombudsman (who agrees with me that they are not being honest at all) and am filing another complaint with the DOH and the state today. Again…WORST PLACE EVER.
