Wow, not only a great place to stay, but inside Hilltop, the staff crew is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious From Spruce Lane staff, housekeeping, laundry department, and the crazy lovely therapists are rockstars. Sarah the administrator, is pleasant, and topnotched at giving out suckers . Julie, the head supervisor of nurses on Spruce Lane is awesome . Nicole, and Hannah will help in areas of finance , and social worker’s questions and answers . No need to think any further. Be careful leaving your family here. Make sure not to leave them with any money or valuables. My grandma lived here for years before she passed and always wanted to move, but it wasn't possible due to insurance issues. They had always taken any money we gave her or that she had in her accounts, so we had a special place to hide it in her wheelchair. A week before she passed, she had me take a large withdrawal from her account and bring it to her. We put it in her special spot, and then she passed that weekend. When I came to clean out her room and check her wheelchair the money nor baggy it was in was anywhere to be found. Fast forward to the next day (or two) and a young nurse who I went to school with pulled me aside and told me that my grandma told her to tell me that the money is in her wheelchair for me..but that was to no avail considering apparently another nurse/worker had already taken it. It was just over 4 thousand dollars (she had wanted a new electronic wheelchair). :/ Also, we never found her wedding ring. BE CAREFUL, this happened a couple of years ago, and I am just not posting because I heard of it happening to someone else recently.

My father lived there for over a year and a half and it was overall marginal, at best. Their billing is highly unreliable, and impossible to decipher what they send if you request a detailed bill. At one point, they changed billing companies and tried to bill us double for approximately $10,000. It took extensive efforts on our part to get them correct the error. My father’s nurse was kind and caring when there, but everyone else we dealt with in the building, including administration, was unfriendly and unreliable, and I would not send anyone there again.

The therapy offered at this facility is top notch. Whether long term care rehab or short term rehab they will get you back on your feet. Great environment with therapy and nursing to promote healing without feeling like you’re in a hospital. They truly make you feel at home and keep things fun!

Hilltop Healthcare has made so many improvements from the old Chris Jensen. The new owners have really gone above and beyond to ensure a homelike environment. The leadership team collaborates to find creative solutions and provide excellent care to the residents.
