Stopping here because I want to recognize Aaliyah at Pruitt for her exceptional support and professionalism throughout the admissions process. From the moment we connected, she demonstrated genuine compassion, clear communication, and an impressive attention to detail. Conversations were great and met with laughs/smiles.
She took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly, ensured paperwork was handled quickly, and kept us updated every step of the way. Aaliyah is a remarkable asset to the PruittHealth team, and I’m grateful for her care to my family and commitment to excellence.
Highly recommend working with her! 10/10

Going through the admissions process can be stressful, but having Aaliyah by my side made it feel effortless. From the very first conversation, she was incredibly welcoming and approachable. I had a lot of questions and Aaliyah answered every single one with patience, clarity, and genuine care.
She never made me feel like I was asking too much or like I should already know the answers. Instead, she created a safe, comfortable space where I felt confident asking anything. Her explanations were always clear, and she took the time to walk me through each step, so I never felt lost or unsure.
Aaliyah is a true professional with a kind heart. If you get to work with her, you’re in excellent hands. Thank you, Aaliyah!

The 1st Floor skilled level care, especially the recovery therapists, is very good. They are kind, caring, well staffed and did a pretty god job with our loved one. Since she seemed to do well on the skilled recovery floor, we decided to let Mom stay as a long term resident. We did not know what we were in for! Those floors look nothing like the photos. Furnishings are ripped, smeared with old food, broken or non-existent. Walls, floors and curtains filthy sometimes with stains that look like bodily fluid. Fixtures that don't work. There are some fine and caring people on her floor. But the care is inconsistent and based on the attitude of the nurse or CNA for that shift. Since going to the long term care floor, our loved one has received inconsistent, sub-par care and in a few cases shear neglect. She's been left dirty for weeks (despite our requests), found isolated sitting or laying in her own urine and feces. The meals are the worst we've seen in any of these places. Menus that never materialize, minimal to no nutrition, and on two instances rotten or expired food / milk was served to her. The milk was 5 days past its date and was sour. If we hadn't been there to intercept it and throw it away, there's no telling if she would have tried to eat or drink it. It could be overlooked if it was a one-off event. Sadly, it's not. Nurses who don't understand dementia, CNA's who'd rather play on their phone or talk to others than help residents and some who ignore you or your resident altogether. This causes our loved one lots of needless anxiety, unchecked situations, even a fall that was blamed on her and not their lack of oversight. It's not a place for people to thrive and live out their life. We've met others coming to visit their loved ones whom we've overheard saying the same things. I appears as though most the residents cannot speak for themselves. Sadly it would almost appear some like it that way so they can do as they please. We have found that unless we are there constantly or calling to check up, her care slips. There's little peace of mind for us or her. This is not the way health care at the end of life should be - for any of us. Do better!
Since the original post, a group meeting with leadership took please, supposedly for a 90 review, despite the fact that it had not nearly been 90 days. These same grievances were discussed and swift action promised. Sadly, little to no follow through. Although all issues are easily curable. NOT BETTER YET!!

Do not let your loved ones end up here if you can help it. Upper Admin are near impossible to reach unless you threaten to get attorneys involved (yes, it’s that bad) and my family member who is there long term has been downright bullied by some of the nurses. He has been left in unsanitary conditions for over 24 hours and has had weeks go between wound care. He has missed SEVERAL CRITICAL doctors appointments and external medical practitioners have made complaints about the facilities incompetence via the hotline, which just goes back to upper admin. It’s really unfair for the handful of genuinely kind workers and nurses that I HAVE encountered there, but they don’t seem to receive any incentive to stay.
