This facility is awesome, before my grandmother arrived to the facility she couldn't even walk with assistance but not she is moving around all by herself giving her, her independence back.

I just brought my father home after a few weeks at this facility. I was nervous after reading the Google reviews and was unsure what we would find when we picked this one. About five weeks ago, he was being discharged from the hospital and they gave me a list of rehab facilities to choose from. None of them had good reviews. I cautiously selected this one. I'm so glad I did. Is the facility older and in need of renovations? Yes. Is the food wonderful? No (my dad asked me to DoorDash him meals a lot of the time — yes, you can do that there). Was the TV the easiest for him to figure out? No. What made this place great was the staff he interacted with each day. The helpful gentleman who sits at the front desk and happily answered all my questions (which I'm sure he hears day in and day out). The admissions person who explained how everything would work and what to expect. His amazing PT team who went above and beyond to motivate him when he just wanted to stay in bed. And his nurse who felt like she was my "partner" in this when it came to his care. The day I arrived, I stood in the hall as they got him settled. EVERY person who walked by stopped and asked me if I needed assistance. Tips: The experience is what YOU make of it. I witnessed a relative of another patient criticize and be unpleasant to her mother's nurse. I understand it's a stressful time, but, remember, they are entrusted with the care of your loved one. A little kindness goes a long way. I visited almost daily. Try to get by often and introduce yourself. Let them know you're around and appreciate their feedback and help. Bring food from home when you can. Sign them up for Netflix (available on the TV in their room) and pick a show to watch a little of each time you visit. It gives them something to look forward to (don't forget to log out when they head home!). Speak to their PT team about the plan and their progress. Share that with your loved on so you manage their expectations about length of stay AND how they can help themselves to get out sooner.

My mother has been a resident at this facility multiple times. The first time was wonderful, however this second time was a nightmare from what i've seen/heard, as well from what she has told me. The hospital bed she was in was sinking and she could never stay comfortable due to it. When she remarked about it they did NOTHING to help her. The aides are very disrespectful and would rally against my mother if someone had an issue or incident w/ her (some were standoffish to me as well over the phone and in person) The ONLY good people i met and spoke to were the front desk staff, and the records department. This place needs some humility and a staff redo.
