Nurses and care workers look happy to be there, nice and quiet place to recover with good amenities, like party rooms and a peaceful exterior view of its local lake. Food looks good and the clients look satisfied. The facility itself looks a little dated but its still home'y.

My husband was transported here from St Francis for inpatient mobility, physical therapy. The campus is beautiful. Upon his arrival, he raved about the staff greeting him as he was wheeled to his room. He truly felt welcomed and any anxiety he had about what to expect was immediately eliminated. I have been in the room with him as each new staff member arrived to assist him. They introduced themselves to my husband and any family member visiting him. Patient care is clearly the mission at Lifecare Federal Way!

My Dad was hospitalized a few weeks ago and was in need of physical and occupational therapy due to significant mobility issues. We did some online research and solicited input from our neighborhood social media groups and decided upon Life Care Center of Federal Way. I was immediately put at ease when he was visited by several team members, i.e., admissions, nursing staff, activities, physical/occupational therapists, etc. Each team member took the time to explain to my Dad what their role was in assisting him during his stay. Some of the things that I thought were so cool was the way the Nursing Staff greeted and checked in with us on a daily basis. Notably, Jarad was simply awesome and it made me feel at ease that my Dad was going to be ok. Then an assessment was conducted and a plan was put into place for him. At the end of the first week, the Nursing Staff, Therapists, and Social Workers met with all of us to discuss what success looked like for Dad. They were very clear and solicited his input on what his goals were. None of us felt like this was a “treat and push him on the street” situation. It’s been about three weeks now and my 83 year old Dad is not surviving he is THRIVING. The staff has challenged him and he routinely says the Seal Team mantra, “The only easy day was yesterday.” We’re now planning his next meeting to discuss discharge and continued care at home. I really liked that we have been prompted about the continuation of care outside of Life Care and coaching us up on how to coordinate the next steps in caring for Pops. Sooo glad we selected Life Care.

My Mother in Law has been here for a month and we have appreciated the care given! The staff are caring and attentive. They doctors and nurses have really listened to us and take our thoughts and concerns seriously. We have seen such improvements in her ability and are grateful for the thoughtful care of all the staff.

With three people to a room, it would be beneficial for residents to listen to TV with remote headphones so other residents won’t be disturbed
