FORESTVILLE HEALTHCARE CENTER

This is one of the worst places ones loved one can be at the staff is rude they are from other countries they're not attentive to the patients I hf to call the state on them. Then instead of the dietician delivering the food the nurses does it after dealing with patients ,how foul. I heard the nurse tell a patient they have to wait to be changed cause they delivering food how disgusting. I swear I don't recommend no one to this facility

I was a lil worried bout this place because of all the terrible ratings but I spent a week here with my father in law and it was refreshing to see how caring each of the nurses, doctors and staff are. My loved one is unable to care for himself he’s blind can’t walk and can only eat liquids. He will be passing soon unfortunately. They checked on him very often and made sure to handle him with care and hear out his concerns even when he didn’t understand what was going on and was frantic. They were helpful with paper work and making decisions on his care. The only reason this place didn’t get a 5 star is because it does need to be cleaner. There was water or coffee drops on the walls, rust in the bathrooms and paint chipping. They do foster a fun environment and keep the residents laughing tho. Therefore I do recommend this place even if they are not coming for rehab.

I normally don't write reviews. I WOULD NOT recommend my dog at this facility. My son was sent to this facility from the hospital and I promise you I got him out of there the following week. From the incompetent staff, to the dirty facility, to the unprofessional staff. The rooms and bathrooms are so gross. The cleaning lady need to spend more time cleaning vs running her mouth. The food is horrible, I wouldn't give a homeless person there food if it was the last thing to eat. The CNA's and some of Nurses are very incompetent, the Infectious Disease doctor please don't get me started with her (trifling). They give you ice water out of a cooler with a plastic cup. I have pictures of EVERYTHING I am saying. I can't make this mess up. Majority of staff on the medical side there are just clueless. The positive thing about that facility is the PT and OT. The whole team for Rehab was EXCEPTIONAL. Other than that throw the whole dam building away with the staff. I complained so bad on this facility. They don't care about the patients, they just want to fill there beds.

The best thing in this facility is rehab/Therapy. They are extremely helpful and consistent with everything they do. They also want to make sure you are getting proper patient care. I have this place a 2 rating because of patient care. Some of the nurses are rude, they are short staffed so the call bell doesn't get answered in a reasonable manner

I had a wonderful experience here. All the staff were friendly and efficient, I felt very welcomed. All my medication arrived on time. Housekeeping cleaned my room every single day. The rehabilitation staff were phenomenal! Physical therapy and occupational therapy were my favorite parts of the day! Rebecca is amazing! Thank you so much for taking care of me! Highly recommended!
