I am a Rehab patient here and will soon be moving to the Residential side of the center. The staff members (Nurses, PT staff, Aides and Administrative office staff) have all been kind and accommodating 9 out of 10 times (those are really good odds). 😀 I feel "taken care of" here. The food has been mostly good as well and they give you the option of picking an item from the alternate menu if you dont want or don't like what they're serving. I would also like to comment on the overall cleanliness. My room is cleaned every day and the whole center looks clean as well. I feel comfortable and safe here. I will miss the staff on the Rehab side and am hoping it will be the same after I move.

Absolutely horrific. This facility should be shut down. Don’t be fooled by their misleading 4.1-star rating—read the 1-star reviews, because they are the only honest ones. If you care about your loved one, stay far away from this place. Our family member died because of this facility’s neglect. She developed multiple bacterial infections and went into septic shock because they didn’t even bother to flush her catheter. It was completely clogged, she had zero urine output, and no one noticed—or cared. When we got her to the ER, the doctor and nurse were visibly disturbed and told us “it doesn’t appear she was being cared for.” That says everything. I read another review about someone contracting C. diff here, and surprise—so did our family member. The facility is filthy. Unsanitary. Disgusting. They don’t clean, they don’t monitor, they don’t do their jobs. It’s a breeding ground for infection and negligence. We believed the 4-star reviews. And now, we’re planning a funeral. Do. Your. Research. Look into the multiple investigations they’ve been involved in. Don’t make the same mistake we did. This place is dangerous.

We love Green Valley! I have had my mother here for the last 7 months and she is doing so much better here than she was doing at home. We honestly did not know anything about the facility before she came here, we had to find a place quickly while she was in the hospital and this was one of the suggestions. But wow, we really lucked out because this place is fantastic! The staff is so kind and caring. Jaya and Cheryl have been so incredibly helpful to me in navigating all of the paperwork and everything regarding my mom's care. I didn't know one single thing about long term care so they have been angels helping guide me through it all! The nursing staff are all wonderful, we have not had any problems with them. And we LOVE our CNAs! They have been so compassionate and kind to my mom, and to me, too! The facility itself is very clean and well kept. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are awesome and every day that I'm up there visiting (which is 4-5 days a week, if not more), someone is sweeping or mopping or cleaning something. My mom's room is always very clean, from the floors to her bedside tray! And the landscapers also keep the outside of the facility very tidy and it never looks run down. The dietary staff are amazing, too. The food they prepare is delicious and my mom just adores her trays. She is a tiny thing, and she never ate much before, but she loves the meals they bring her. Even things she was never fond of eating before, now she happily eats. If you've ever been anxious about your loved one not eating, you know what an absolute load off your mind it is when they eat without complaint. My mom doesn't really do any of the activities they have, like bingo or getting her nails done, so I can't speak on those. But any time I pass by where people are doing things, they seem to be having a good time! If I had one thing that I could give feedback on, it's the wait time after the call button has been pressed. We have used the call button before while I am visiting and sometimes it can take over half an hour before someone comes in to see what is needed. I know that sometimes they are short-staffed, and there are many people to care for, but that does seem a little long. I've heard that it is sometimes worse at night. So that is really my only (mostly minor) concern. But we really do love this place, and we feel very blessed that my mom is in a place where she is well taken care of! If you are looking for a great facility for rehab or long term care, you really cannot go wrong with Green Valley!
