The employees here are amazing, all of them go out of their way to make sure you have or get what you need. From the physical therapist to the janitors, I feel so much better than when I got here and doing so much physically. So I really appreciate this place and thankful for being sent here. Especially for Katie, the Social worker. She's on top of everything. 😁

I'm in my early 50's and found myself overwhelmed with the choice of where to go to recuperate after a serious illness and hospital stay. I needed PT/OT, PICC line management and multiple IV antibiotics multiple times a day for 8 weeks. Jason Alexander, director, reached out to me and we talked through the process and he dispelled most of my fears. He and staff went above and beyond to help the transition from hospital to their facility go as smoothly as possible. Even though they are a smaller facility, the personal connection and being closer to home was a bonus, as my sweet husband no longer had to drive an hour to visit. Multiple times, Jason went grocery shopping after hours and would text me to be sure he bought the items within my allergy restrictions. The dietician Jenn was also wonderful! All the nursing staff, nurses aides, PT/OT, housekeeping, office staff (I'm going to forget someone 😏) were timely, competent and caring. Thank you for always treating me & my family with dignity, Kindness & friendship! Yes, I was here for skilled nursing & Rehab (which I received with excellence) but you all went so far above and beyond, "Just a job". Despite the circumstances, I will always look back on my stay here with fondness, for each of you have touched my heart in some way. I hope this helps someone else who is considering this facility.

This place was heaven sent. I hated having to be here and I was not a nice person with not a lot of nice words at first. I've dealt with other family members with other nursing homes and hated the idea of coming here. However it has been a pleasure. All of the nurses have been good. Two have been exceptional-Amanda and Michelle. Amanda is an excellent nurse. All the aides have been great but Dawn and Natalie have been exceptional. Jason the administrator is a very nice man. He is actually involved in every aspect of the business. The social worker, Katie, has helped make this feel very homey The front office staff has been very helpful and I appreciate that. Housekeeping does a good job keeping up with the facility. I even get to see my puppies!

My father has been @ Gladwin Nursing & Rebab for a little over 2 weeks receiving physical therapy. Although my father and step-mother were reluctant at first— the staff has been amazing. Going above and beyond to get him settled in. Executive admin even went out, after hours, to get something my dad was requesting to eat that they did not have on hand. Therapy had him moving almost daily to where we seen significant improvements. Katie, the case manager was an absolute gem— helping us to appeal insurances discharge date and request a few more weeks to extend his stay, ensuring he wasn’t sent home prematurely. We highly recommend this facility for any of your loved one’s rehabilitation needs.

I sincerely cannot say enough about the care my 92 year old father received while recovering from a serious bout of pneumonia. Managing and coordinating his care remotely from another state has been a remarkably daunting task. However, the team at Gladwin Nursing and Rehab made it so much easier for me. They communicated consistently. I had access to my dad and could speak with him whenever I needed to. While he was resistant to go into rehab, by the time he left he genuinely sounded 20 years younger, he was so clear and seemed to have a renewed sense of purpose. While originally clamoring to get out and go home, he ended up opting to stay an few extra days. Social work was so helpful, bringing him books about history and taking the time to discuss them with him. I knew what to expect daily and if there were any changes in his care I was informed immediately. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone with a loved one in need of extended care. At a time in history when most medical facilities seem so cold and indifferent, Gladwin Nursing and Rehab goes beyond to truly that the human beings they are caring for with respect and dignity. I am so genuinely grateful for my father's time with them.
