HERITAGE HEALTH CARE CENTER

I had a great stay here. The CNA/tech team were absolutely amazing. I start with them because I had the most contact with them. All the techs are professional, caring, supportive, well trained. This is a busy facility and the techs work hard to make sure their patients are taken care of. There is a call light for the patient to use to get assistance. The wait for a tech response was less than 4 minutes! Impressive. Techs never showed attitude when asked for help. Techs reported to the nurses for issues above their certification. The techs always reported to the nurses immediately if there was an issue. Fortunately I didn't have many issues that needed nurses attention but when I did I felt that the nurses responded effectively and efficiently. Food was surprisingly good. Hospital and health care facilities have so many restrictions and very strict set of rules that they must follow I understand. The cook was very good at giving the food lots of flavor with out drowning it in salt. I truly enjoyed the meals. I am grateful that I had food and I didn't have to plan it buy the groceries prepare the food and do the dishes. Beans were prepared 3 times during my time here. They were epic! The physical therapy girls were great! They were sure to understand my goals I needed to accomplish so that I could function safely at home. They treated the work out seriously but made them fun. I recommend Heritage if you or your loved one needs a professional yet personal care facility.

My wife has received excellent care and attention from all the nurses and CNA’s. The physical & occupational therapists have done a great job in working with my wife to get her ready to go home. Very impressed with the caring culture that is shown by everyone at this facility.

The nursing staff was excellent, the therapist Jennette (from Maryland) was outstanding! The food wasn't bad either. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs it! Thank you for your excellent care!

I gave This facility a 5 star for the Nursing, PT and OT Staff and all The aids that took care of me after a Total Hip replacement. I cannot say enough about the real care and commitment for me personally to get me ready and able to go home to finish healing. Dr. Layton was great, took time to understand my concerns and address them and he is dedicated to his patients here. The food though was about a 3 on that star chart. Some dishes were very good, but most were not. Also the food service staff could not seem to get request because of personal dietary requirement together, or food request when asked for. I will be having the other hip done as soon as possible and will request to be sent back here to heal. Rebecca Reissner
