I have worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years, and even with my knowledge and background I was still scared to send my loved one to not only Camden but any SNF aka "Nursing Home". But after all the research and background checks, we decided on Camden Place and boy am I happy. We couldn't have had a better experience. We all hear so many horror stories about these places "make sure you check on them every day, do your popups" but I have never felt that way about Camden Place. I can only speak to their SNF facility, but the LTAC patients are always dressed nice, and the place is very clean. Never really have any smells ( I mean once or twice when you walk pass someone's room) but not every day. If you have any doubts in this place, please go and tour. Thier rehab team is phenomenal, the gym and courtyard is also beautiful sight. My loved one feels safe here and never has complained (except the food but she has pretty high standards as she is a chef). The staff are very friendly from the lobby, admin, and clinical staff. You got to go check them out for yourself.

My Mother went here to rehabilitate her leg when she broke it. She was 89 years old. The staff did everything they could to take care of her. My Mom even made some friends at Camden. The Medical staff and the social worker assigned to help my Mother kept in touch with me all the time. I am grateful to all the staff. Unfortunately my Mother decided to stop eating or drinking and to stop taking her medications. We all tried to get her to eat and drink and take her meds. Mom had a do not resuscitate order. Mom said she was tired and wanted to go home and be with Dad. He had passed away 5 years ago. I miss her. But I am not sad for her. She lived a full life. And she said she was ready to go. The people at Camden did everything they could to take care of my Mother and to make her as comfortable as possible in her last days. I want to thank the people at Camden for everything

This is the best place ever. They took great care of my Mother, Father, Stepmom, and my Aunt. They show kindness, love, and care every minute of every day. The nurses (esp Ms Dews), rehab staff (esp Kim), accounting (esp Christy) and Ms Dowd who was my dad's buddy and helped with all of their care. I highly recommend Camden for your loved ones and if the day comes for me to go somewhere I have already told my boys, I'm going there. The best staff ever.

I agree with the other 1 star reviews here. My father was released to this place for "rehab" after being in the hospital. When he was released to this facility, he wasn't seen by a doctor onsite until morning at which time he was dead. It was so bad, someone from the hospital had to be flagged down to sign the death certificate. No one at the facility would sign it since he wasn't their patient. There should always, always be a doctor onsite. What kind of nonsense was that? One has to believe he was rolled into a room and left with nothing. Was he given any care? Was he checked on? I don't know the answers but I do know I wouldn't send any more loved ones here. So awake, talking etc when released from the hospital. Goes to this facility and is dead within 24 hours. Just my experience.

My 91-year-father had the good fortune to be admitted to Camden after a tough 7 days in the hospital with a bad case of the flu. Throughout his two-month stay in Rehab every member of the team that we encountered was kind, compassionate and truly invested in my Dad gaining strength and being able to return to life with my Mom, his wife of 69 years. The Physical Therapy Team, lead by Colleen is exceptional, and our Social Worker, Kirstin, helped all of us manage the transition with empathy and genuine concern for our comfort. We're glad he's back home, but we are thankful to Camden for taking such very good care of him while he recovered.
