GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE CENTER - HAYWARD

My mother was a resident here for a few months after she had a stroke. The outstanding care and helpfulness the staff showed to my mother was beyond what I can ask for. They cared for her like she's one of their love one and that what you want in a facility like this. The facility is clean and it looks like it's modern. I would highly recommended this place.

I was a patient here recently so I have personal experience here. The RN's are very gentle skilled nurses whom also are very caring, knowledgeable & quick to meet patient's needs. Front desk is very welcoming, caring, friendly and also helpful. CNA's are personal care which is great! They are the ones that clean you, feed you, shower you & keep you active. I highly appreciate my personal CNAs and EVERYTHING they did for me! PT(physical therapy) are they best team! Very knowledgeable, upbeat, a good pushy, that's what you need! I NEVER liked to miss a PT session. They've made me so healthy and strong mentally and physically!! Also, everyone in activity room so happy welcoming and friendly!🫶❤️💋. They've got best social worker I've ever been assigned too very on top of things! I never missed a medical or dental appointments because of his hard work making arrangements with transportation for me! I highly recommend Golden Harbor to family, friends and neighbors! 😉

Do not send your loved one here. I’m pretty sure all these reviews are spam by employees, etc. Once my mom got admitted here, her physical health started deteriorating due to negligence & lack of care from Nurses & CNA’s. My mom got a huge open sore due to the timely negligence of CNA’s as well. I had to continually nag the employees every visit. I’ve only had the upmost respect for 2 employees (Michael & Verdge) out of this whole facility because they tried their best to give my mom the best care they could & they’re the only ones who showed passion & love for the work they do so I will give 2 stars because of them. Now that my mom has passed away, I wonder if she would still be here, had I not kept her in this facility. I advise anyone who reads this, read into the real reviews & place your family where they will be well taken care of.

My dad stayed at this facility following his hospital discharge, and our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff were kind, attentive, and professional. The room provided a reasonable amount of space for two patients, and the nurses ensured my dad was comfortable and well cared for throughout his stay. A special thank you to Anna, Javonne, Emily, Kayla, Kim, Alex, and others whose names I may not know—for going above and beyond. I also had frequent communication with Director Michael Phan regarding my dad’s doctor appointments and discharge planning. He was exceptionally kind and supportive, and his dedication made the entire discharge process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Golden Harbor Healthcare center as they transition from Bay Point's previous ownership. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of comfort and care that instantly put me at ease. There is a receptionist that is surrounded by residents indicating that this place provides a friendly and welcome atmosphere for everyone to participate and engage in socializing. The staff here is welcoming even though it looks quite busy. They took the time to truly get to know our loved one, creating a personalized care plan that addressed both medical and emotional needs. The nurses, aides, administrator, admissions and therapy team are always respectful, kind, and encouraging — their dedication shines through in everything they do. The facility itself is getting a whole remodel and it looks clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to promote a safe and welcoming environment. The art work posted depicts a very warm and hearty feeling to it with the harbor's view - they definitely wanted to match their facility's name for sure! The activities and social opportunities help residents stay engaged and feel connected, which has made a huge difference in our loved one’s overall well-being. We are truly grateful for the peace of mind Golden harbor has given us. It’s clear that this is more than just a job for the staff — they genuinely care. I would highly recommend this facility to any family looking for pioneering and top-notch skilled nursing care.
