My 100-year-old dad has been a resident at Hayward Hills Health Care Center for four years, and I can say wholeheartedly that the entire staff has been a true blessing to our family. He has advanced dementia and is fully CNA-dependent, yet every single day he is cared for with gentle hands, warm hearts, and genuine compassion. The team at Hayward Hills keeps him consistently clean, groomed, and—most importantly—in good spirits. Knowing he is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who genuinely care is the greatest gift our family could receive. Over the years, the staff has been incredibly accommodating and in constant communication with us. They keep us updated, and answer questions without hesitation. That level of transparency and attentiveness has given us confidence and peace of mind. We are truly grateful for everything Hayward Hills has done and continues to do for our dad.

This place is really sad. The residents look like they’re just left to wither away. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sending my dad here. He was fully conscious and not that old, sent here for PT, and I trusted the staff to take care of him while I was at work. One day, during a short visit, I found out he had been rushed to the ER. Even though I had given them my number multiple times, their excuse for not reaching me was that the number on file was wrong. My dad ended up in the ER with a severe UTI that had turned into a bloodstream infection, which means he’d been left in his diaper for who knows how long. When I got to the hospital, I was shocked to see he had bedsores all over, which shows he wasn’t being changed regularly. He stayed in the ICU for almost a month because of this place. We’ve moved him to another facility now and are on hospice, trying to make the most of the time we have left with him. During hospital visits, he told me there were times he had to beg someone to change him—and they wouldn’t come for up to 7 hours! I’ve worked in care facilities for 5 years, so I know how stressful it can be, but what they did to my dad wasn’t stress—it was just careless and lazy.

Staff is the best. They are always very helpful. Social service staff is great. We tried 15 other places and my dad who is 101 has always been treated well. We are very happy

Staffs, including management, social workers, nurses, nurse assistants, etc. are all very patient and friendly. The patient was taken care well, got recovered quickly! Will recommend this facility to who needs a nursing facility.

I am a patient here and this place is terrible. They charge way too much money and it has the worst food available. The staff does not care for anyone here as well. If to get a transfer, they do not do their job. The place is falling apart and nothing gets replaced.
