My Mother lives in this place for so long I couldn’t remember what year she started lived there maybe about 8-9 years or more. It not the same as it used to be 2-3 years ago. Last week I discovered that my Mother left foot had a wound and bruise, and they put her socks on to cover up the wound without reporting to the supervisors. The caretaker are rude and don’t speak well English talking and laughing very loudly no respect to the residents and the visitors very unprofessional behavior. The food is always horrible and food doesn’t matches with the recipes that on the tray. I always change mom diapers when I get there b/c she’s wet. Not Good! I hope they care for our Parents better than this.
My mom has been a resident here in the wandering unit for 9 months! I can't say enough about the staff and administration. They have went above and beyond in caring for my mom! I don't want to mention specific names because I'm afraid I'll leave someone out, but the administrator, the finance manager, the social worker, the nurses, the aids and the sitters have just spoiled my mom. I am so thankful to have found somewhere that treats my mom so well. Of course, there are those that are not as good, but overall I am very pleased.
My mom fell and broke her hip and we were very hesitant to put her in any type of facility. After reading the reviews and talking to the folks up there we decided to pull the trigger and do it and I can say I was pleasantly surprised with the care she received while here. If you have a loved one who needs this type of care these are the people you need to look at. Thanks to all the staff for what y’all done to help my mom it will not be forgotten
My grandmother was a resident here following her hospitalization and then transitioned into a long term resident. She remained there until her passing. I have 0 complaints about the care and the staff were all WONDERFUL! They treated my grandmother like she was their relative. They checked on her even when they weren’t on her hall that day just to make sure she was doing ok. The staff here truly care about their residents and show it daily! 10/10 recommend!
I've been around nursing home facilities for over 30 years with various family members. I have never seen a place that can come up to Westchester Manor in quality. The staff is exceptional kind patient and friendly. I've tasted three of the meals that my loved one has been served and the food was excellent. I have yet to meet even one employee that I didn't think was fantastic. We are so thankful for Westchester manor.
