MEDILODGE OF HOWELL

If I could put zero stars I would. my mom was placed in this facility after a stroke, pneumonia and she’s battling lung cancer. When she left the hospital and arrived at this facility, my mom was stable. 2 days ago we had to call 9-11 and have her transferred back to the hospital (straight to ICU!!) due to bed sores, an extreme UTI, severe dehydration, delirium and bruises on her back from being dropped. We plan to take further legal action as the hospital has all of this documented coming straight from the facility. This place is a joke. My mom had no tv for 3 weeks. She sat in a dark, empty room all alone waiting hours on hours for someone to change her soiled linen or bring her a fresh water. There was fecal matter all over her stuff in her room. One evening she was changed and my brother was standing outside the door waiting for them to finish, and the “nurse” threw her bag of soiled linen down the hallway at another employee as a joke. Truly disturbing that these are real people you’re taking care of and you treat them like a game. I expect all of her belongings to be at the front desk when we arrive to retrieve them. I have photos of all the items in her room prior to hospitalization and if anything is missing, we will take even further legal action! Edit to add: I spoke to their admin and he had excuses for everything!!! We love someone who takes zero accountability. Didn’t even bother to ask how we or our mom was doing , just straight to “you left us a bad review.” me a favor and take a walk around your facility once in a while outside of when you get a shitty review. Absolutely ridiculous and horrendous.

I am amazed at how much the staff really cares and connects with their residents. I’m so glad we put mom in Medilodge of Howell, she is having such a wonderful time & I couldn’t be happier with her care. We have conferences which address any concerns and I am so confident that we made the right decision for mom & our family. There’s no other place like it, it’s a beautiful home for mom. The therapy my mom was given was top notch with the best staff. All of the nurses and aids are very friendly and respectful. We had a few problems when she first arrived but those were addressed promptly. Thank you for all you have done

My husband and I placed his Aunt Norabelle Haines at Medilodge of Howell. It immediately gave me a good impression when I first came to tour the facility because it was clean and smelled clean also! The staff were very helpful and friendly to us and welcoming to Norabelle.

Came up to visit my Mom today. After almost three months of being in the hospital this was a refreshing change. Everyone was nice. Nice facility with lots of rec spaces. Very happy with my Mom’s progress over the past two weeks. Keep up the good work!
