lifecare center of Kansas City is a place where Residents enjoy to be, staff are are professional and the administration is very pro active. Food is Good and the place is clean. Its a place I would recommend to any person. Keep it up.

I have a friend that lives at Life Care and she really enjoys the activities and the therapy people. She says the care is really good too. I visited with her and saw that for myself.

LifeCare Center of KC is 5 ⭐️ s all the way from the staff to the patients. My grandfather loves it there.

Not a fan at all of this place. It stinks, and it's not well taken care of at all. Everything is used and falling apart. Thank God my dad only has 20 days here for rehab. We are waiting for the 28th with bags in hand to get him the hell outta here. Even the workers look bad, and the first day I came to visit my dad, there was arguing in his hall 😐. The VA social worker named Michelle needs to be ashamed of herself. My mom complained the whole time she was here to see dad. Not a fan, and please don't send your love ones here. The only reason why we brought him here was because the Rehab department does a great job with their residents. 20 days please hurry up.

So very disappointed with the staff at Lifecare KC. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. The social worker, Debbie Fagan is never available for a pre-scheduled call. So this facility is either grossly understaffed or doesn’t see the value in open and honest dialog. A two week plan was in place for my mom after a meeting with Debbie. 4 weeks later, we (family) had to follow up and ask why the plan has not been implemented. One excuse after another. We are promised follow up and answers and get none. My parents are in their 80’s and I’m trying to help them from another state to understand what is happening and can’t even get the courtesy and kindness of a scheduled call. Imagine the care that the poor, elderly residents get. I give them 2 stars because they have a roof, beds, meals and controlled temperature. Very discouraged and disappointed. Part 2: My mom was finally moved out of this horribly run home. She was found unresponsive and suffering from Sepsis, kidney and blood infection on March 29. She threw up the day before and was acting confused. My dad was there when it happened. It was NOT notated in her chart! I repeat, no one on staff noted it so that staff could check her more and find out why she had thrown up. She was taken to KU Med where she spent a week. She is now in another home. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. The staff need a complete overhaul starting with the Director. She has no control and doesn't know what is happening right under her nose. She told me that "She's sorry I feel that way." when I told her that I had lost all confidence in LCKC.
