I have been blessed that God handpicked Langdon Place Of Keene for me to recover at following having had surgery for a broken hip. I have received care for the past two months from the most caring, compassionate staff. The Memory Care Unit at Langdon Place of Keene is an extraordinary residential placement facility for the care of those with dementia. Julie, my wife of 45 years, has lived there for almost two years. She entered in a highly confused state, with problems of mobility and balance. She has stabilized at a state of much better cognitive and physical functioning. Despite still experiencing the world moment-to-moment, most of Julie’s moments are happy ones. She has made new friends in a supportive social milieu, among other residents and the uniformly attentive staff. I credit the careful and compassionate structure of the care Julie has received at Langdon Place for her initial improvement and the ongoing stability of day to day living. Julie is able to often join me in weekly church attendance, choir singing and social gatherings with friends and family, especially our children and granddaughters. Two years ago, I was facing an anxious and uncertain future as the dementia had worsened quickly. Thanks to the dedicated caregivers at Langdon Place Memory Care, we can still take pleasure in our life together that is richer than I could have hoped.

The level of care I received was above and beyond. The nurses, management, and PT/OT therapist were amazing. They all were patient, caring and made us feel positive in our well-being. I can’t thank them enough.

NOTE: Due to a severe case of technophobia, I lost my original review when I tried to include the great picture Jen took at my "graduation." (if you can retrieve that picture, you have my permission to include it) If you ever have a rehab program for that malady sign me up! While it is seldom pleasant to just have to be in a rehab facility, having one like Langdon is a comforting and effective option. The facility is well appointed and equipped. The staff - from administrative to maintenance are extraordinary. The therapists are professional and encouraging. The caregivers are accommodating and compassionate. Varied activities help time pass enjoyably. I intend to visit Langdon in the near future - on two good legs - to greet those who help make it possible. Thank you!

This is the best facility we have used for assisted living. They are very responsive and caring, and were always available to help us. Excellent communication and care. Thank you!
