The administrator Kayla Graham was extremely helpful. She was polite, caring very knowledgeable. MS. Graham answered my questions and was very informative. The nursing in in an older building but the facility was clean and and well maintained.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would I came by to visit my family member who was here less than a month due to an employee exposing hippa and joking about their sexuality/gender the patio area is not a secret place for workers to discuss patients I witnessed a woman with short braids refer to my loved one as it he she whatever they want to be and even asked do you like men or women I asked my loved one was this his caretaker or nurse he stated no she manages his case this is ridiculous please don’t bring your loved one to this hole in the wall they do not genuinely care for your loved ones glad he chose to go back to the other facility

*WARNING* Do not send your loved ones here! Don’t do it! You’ll regret it! They must have friends & family submitting 5 star reviews because there is no way this place could even manage 1 star. Even the residents would share what a horrible place it is! I really trusted this facility and its staff to care for my mother. They didn’t care! We had several meetings and phone calls concerning my mother’s well being but I feel it was never taken to heart. I paid a friend out of my pocket to go daily to check on her and make sure my mother would eat and drink because I was not convinced the staff was being patient in feeding and hydrating my mother who was bed ridden. Many events happened with my mother including a massive diaper rash on her bottom that spread to her front part. I believe she did not receive the adequate care for her wound. I received a phone call that she had passed away and so I rushed there. She just lay there, already cool to the touch, with a bedsore on the bottom of her foot that was oozing and stuck to the sheet! Not one single staff member came to give their condolences, ask if we needed anything or came to see us. Just 1 aid told my daughter “I’m sorry” but not to me. Not 1 person!!! I was there 2 hours while the police completed their report and even the police were in shock that no one came to pay their respects! My dog died last year and the whole team paid their respects and sent me flowers! And it’s been 2 weeks and NO ONE from that facility has called me to say I’m sorry for your loss! But I’m not done with this facility. I will get the answers I need for closure. They did my mom wrong and though she is gone she still has a voice through me and my entire family! Lucky for my mom she has a huge family and they all want answers! Believe me, there is so much more to share but I’m saving it. And if this God forsaken facility is reading this, DO NOT CONTACT ME! Shame on all of you. These poor residents deserve better! A facility with more staff and people who care. I miss my mother terribly but at the same time I feel relieved she is no longer at their mercy.

I have registered my mom in many nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, Bay Ridge Healthcare is by far the best. My mother is happy and doing extremely well. The admin is caring and show a great amount of love for her residents and staff. The facility is clean and well decorated. The staff loves my mom and she loves them back. Yes I have found the perfect place for her.

Bay Ridge surpassed ALL of my expectations!!! The Administrator and her staff are an awesome team of professionals with a passion for people and a nurturing, personal approach to caregiving. This amazing team has given me and my family the peace of mind that comes with knowing our loved one is in GREAT HANDS!!!
