We are conveniently located on Court Street in Laconia, a short drive away from Lakes Region General Hospital and easily accessible to all parts of the Lakes Region.

Our family can not say enough about the excellent care our uncle has had since moving to St. Francis. The staff are extraordinary, facility is clean and pleasing, food is very good as well. The administrative and clinical staff are wonderful communicators, easy to reach and respond quickly to changes in our uncle's needs.
Having visited numerous rehab/long term care facilities over the years, without a doubt, St. Francis excels in all aspects of resident care.
When our mother's health and mental state began to decline, our family embarked on a thorough search to find a facility that could truly meet her evolving needs. After visiting over 11 different locations, we walked into Saint Francis Rehabilitation Nursing Center and immediately felt something different — a sense of warmth, friendliness, and genuine care that was evident from the moment we stepped through the doors.
The environment was clean, welcoming, and filled with positive energy. What stood out most was the staff’s deep connection with the residents. Everyone was greeted by name, and it was clear that these weren’t just formalities — they were real relationships built on compassion and respect.
Making the decision to transition a loved one into a care facility is never easy, but Saint Francis made that first step feel less daunting. Now, six months later, we can confidently say that all our hopes have been realized. Our mother has not only received the professional and attentive care she needs, but she has also found a true community. She has formed meaningful friendships with both residents and staff, and she often shares how welcomed and valued she feels.
Saint Francis also does a phenomenal job with activities. There is always something going on — from musical entertainers, visits from school children, exercise classes metal and physical, Mass and bingo. Our mother genuinely enjoys participating and looks forward to these events. They’ve added joy, engagement, and a sense of routine to her days, which has made a noticeable difference in her overall well-being.
The entire team at Saint Francis has exceeded our expectations in every way. Their dedication, kindness, and professionalism have brought peace of mind to our entire family. We are beyond grateful for the care our mother receives and wholeheartedly recommend Saint Francis Rehabilitation Nursing Center to anyone seeking a nurturing and high-quality environment for their loved one.
We are so very pleased with the care for my father. St Francis staff have been so kind to him and have given him so much love and respect which has gone beyond our expectations. We don’t have to worry or be concerned about his care or treatment at all. Most staff know everyone’s name throughout the facility which shows they truly care to make them all feel loved. They warmly greet him and let him “work” along side staff at their desks or help “fix” things around the house. He loves Patrick and Ryan especially. They make him feel comfortable and at home. These two were his first faces to get to know well and they continue to make him feel safe, loved and heard. Our experience has been so wonderful, like no other facility. He was so forlorn while living at another facility before coming to St Francis, he quickly became comfortable and confident and we realized it would be good for him. My mom moved to St Francis in July 2024. It was a big transition- from living independently in PA to suddenly finding herself needing help but also relocating to NH. My mom was welcomed with open arms by the wonderful staff at St Francis & she has made so many friends. I truly haven’t seen her this happy & I know when we chose St Francis- we chose the BEST!
Our Mom recently became unable to continue living independently in her home due to a fall that left her with 2 broken arms. Fortunately for us, she had agreed to be on the waiting list to live at St.Francis down the road. This accident created a very tough situation for my 2 sisters and me as we had been her sole caregivers but knew this accident was way beyond our scope of care.
Between the rehab coordinators at the hospital and directly calling Ryan at St.Francis, she was admitted for a rehab stay. We were very fortunate that they had a permanent room available at the same time and after a team effort between the wonderful understanding staff, my sisters and me, Mom finally agreed to stay. The level of care she has been receiving from the entire staff has been amazing. Thank you to everyone at St.Francis for helping our Mom receive the care we’ve known she needed. If not for the experience and expertise with helping us navigate this situation, I’m not sure she’d be there!
