VILLA VALENCIA HEALTHCARE CENTER

Villa Valencia is really really nice. My Mom has been to a number of SNF over the past 10 years and it’s the absolute best. RN Joy greeted us with a warm smile and infectious enthusiasm; receptionist Karen is professional detail-focused and exceptionally organized; the director Spencer checks on my Mom daily and makes her feel cared for and important. The PT staff have done wonders for her strength- she’s now able to walk on the outside of the building and in the garden with their kind assistance. For visitors it is open spacious and airy with ample parking. Mom also likes the food - especially the soup - and has gained weight during her stay and she says that it’s as good as home since they have bingo, arts and crafts, and frequent guests as entertainment. Lastly, her Hoag internal medicine physician Dr Wollank has personally visited her twice and has kept close contact with us to monitor her progress. It’s really a special place

We were lucky to have Villa Valencia as our mother’s rehab center after her knee replacement surgery. She had a very positive experience and recommends this place to those in search for a well run, balanced and professional facility. I was recently a patient at Villa Valencia and can't write enough great things about the place.. it all starts with a great administrator, Spencer Nordfelt. He would great me by name and always had a smile as he inquired about my progress. The OT and PT staff were helpful, encouraging, and got me moving. They were fun to work with. The nurses were all knowledgeable as they answered all my questions plus they all found time to chat and check on me. The support staff kept the place running like a fine machine. I was actually able to check out early, first time ever from a medical facility. And finally the food. Awesome in a word. I had to control myself from over eating. Good flavor even on my restricted diet. I'd like to come here for lunch ! In summary, this is a fantastic facility and I give it my highest praise. John Mazurek

A super cute five hall facility providing top notch care to their patients. My grandma stayed for two months and was pleased with the positive attitudes of the medical team. I was personally impressed with how many activities they have for their patients day to day.
