My mom has been here for 5 years and considering the circumstances, I think this place is pretty good. This industry is known for low funding and high employee turnover but they do the best with what they have. The staff here is caring and communicative. They always alert me immediately if anything is wrong or if they need permission to treat her. When I’m alone with my mom, I ask her how she’s being treated here and she always reports that they treat her great. They do their best to keep her in good physical and mental health and in 5 years of being bed ridden, she has not had any health issues arise from neglect. My only complaint would be that personal items are not monitored or tracked and tend to go missing without accountability. Considering that my mom didn’t have any other options, I feel lucky that she ended up here. Give your staff a raise!
Our family member has been at HP for several months. He told us he liked this facility. He likes it's cleanliness, everyone is nice to him, and he is well cared for here. Thank you June, Alem, Alex, and ALL the staff for your good work. Our family really appreciates it.
This retirement center is the worst place you can possibly sent an elderly loved one. They don't take care of anyone here, all they want to do is put them on medication and put them to bed. My grandfather came home with pissed stained clothes ALL OF HIS CLOTHES HAD STAINS!! not one article of clothing was washed, He smelled terrible when he came back indicating they had not given him a shower, they treated him like an animal! Anyone who thinks about sending a loved one here i highly advise you don't!
💯 recommend Harmony Pointe. Amazing community and their residents are loved and supported by thr caring and loving staff. You can’t go wrong with choosing this community for your loved one.
My Mom was taken in by Harmony Pointe as respite care after her hospital stay. Administrative staff (Eddie and Sheena) have been very up front and in touch with me about financials and status. The nursing staff I've met and observed (at least 5 different people) are kind and very competent. Mom's condition is very severe and it's impossible to assess her status by communicating with her. The nurses and aides are always up to date on her status. There are other residents around that are mentally competent that are pleased with their care. The facility is always clean (I visit several times a week at various times) and the food brought to the room looks great. It's hard to put a family member out of their home and into another. This place far exceeded what I thought my family would be able to provide my Mom on her income.
