I am amazed at how clean the building is. It doesn't smell like a nursing home like most facilities I have been to. I am happy that my Sister is in Future's care. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They treat my Sister like family. Don’t change a thing.

If you come here for rehabilitation after surgery make sure that the attending physician has added a "script" for your medicines in your folder, not just a "list" of medications. Sometimes, what you received in the hospital is not readily available and a script is necessary, which could unfortunately take 24 or more hours, especially on a weekend. If you have necessary meds at home, I strongly recommend you bring at least 3-4 days worth while your medicine issue gets sorted out. If you are unable to walk to the dining hall, a tray will be provided, however, a call to the kitchen 2 hours ahead of each service will allow time to prepare alternate choices. Outside food is allowed, and food may be refrigerated for up 72 hours. Staff will also heat food items upon request. Make sure to push the call button before you actually need to, because it could take up 10 minutes to get help. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. While no facility is perfect, and there are occasional miscommunications or misinformation, the 5 star rating is due to the efforts of the staff, Dee Washington, Sharon Premonte(unit manager), Ibrahim Jalloh, Nurse Elizabeth 7:00a-3:00p shift, and Nurse Elizabeth 11:00p-7:00a shifts, Coen Doss, and Katrina from housekeeping, Tiffany Butler, and Moji, to name a few, who will go above and beyond to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible and to expedite changes that are needed to maintain this beautiful facility and it's 5 star rating.

I was impressed by the beauty and cleanness of the facility! The landscape is surprisingly inviting. However, the dinner served to the.person I visited didn't look inviting, and all that was described on the menu was not on her tray She had chicken and dumpling, but she couldn't find the chicken .

I was in Future Care for three weeks after bilateral knee replacement. It started out shaky but ended great. The PT and OT were excellent. I give them five starts. The second nursing group that cared for me were outstanding. I would go here again if needed for short term recovery. The food was awful. The place needs to exam their food contract and may be change. I found the CEO was receptive and very kind. Thank you all!!!

I visited FutureCare when it first opened and was immediately IMPRESSED. Recently, I had a close relative and a friend spend time there in rehab; my causal impression is now a confirmation that Medicare’s FIVE STAR RATING is accurate. Let’s face it, no rehabilitation or nursing home is perfect or without some issues. Having visited many rehabilitation and nursing homes, I can assure you that it is one of the best in this area. It is very clean and organized with a family room that can be used for private group dining, small parties or visits of large groups. The FITNESS ROOM is very large and spacious and filled with modern equipment and busy, expert physical therapists who do a wonderful job. It is always very clean and organized. In fact, the whole facility is. The FOOD IS VERY GOOD & and residents are allowed, within limits, to select among several choices. Kudos to the chef and dietary staff. Finally, the DIRECTOR IS VERY DEDICATED & hands-on and not just confined to her office. Once, I saw her outside checking for possible violators of handicapped parking. Which brings me to one problem; there isn’t enough handicapped parking near the main entrance or on that level.
