LIFE CARE CENTER OF GWINNETT

I so agree with Hieti Utter who posted her review 3 months ago. Folks just aren't doing their job here. My mom was sent to this facility for rehab care after a fall. The first day I visited my mom was ok and we thought she was in good care. The second day of my visit, I found that my mom slept in the day clothes she had on the day before. I asked for assistance to get her changed and the caregiver had an attitude. Yes, I was upset and rightfully so. Then they didn't have the proper pair of legs for the wheel chair, not to mention the legs seemed to have disappeared on a few occasions. That day I asked how often they change their soled depends, i was told every 2 hours. I was with my mom for 3 hours and no one even bothered to come in and asked if she needed to be cleaned. I was furrious. Then another day we were told they left my mom outside of the physical therapy room for 2-3 hours. Also, I witness the lady next to my mom said she had to use the bathroom, that lady sat in her wheel chair with just her depends on for 45 minutes before an angry caregiver helped her AND she said the caregiver told her she's making her back hurt. If they cant do their job then they don't need to be there, PERIOD. We felt a need to constantly be onsite to INSURE our mom got the proper care. The food was gross 😝 and my mom is a diabetic, why did they give her a soda and sugary deserts??? REALLY! There's more that happened and I can go on... this place is awful. They smile in your face then treat your loved ones like crap behind your back. LCC is theeee worse care facility I ever visited. As the kids now say, "FOR REAL, FOR REAL".

My aunt recently stayed at Life Care Center of Gwinnett, and our entire family is incredibly grateful for the care she received. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. The nurses and aides were attentive, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile. She also received physical therapy during her stay, and the progress she made was amazing — she’s in much better shape now and feeling stronger and more confident every day. The therapists were not only skilled, but also encouraging and compassionate, which made a big difference in her recovery. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food was a pleasant surprise — fresh, tasty, and varied enough to keep things interesting. We highly recommend Life Care Center of Gwinnett to anyone looking for quality rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. It gave us peace of mind to know she was in such good hands.

Therapy is wonderful! They are very patient with me. Roberta has been working with me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The nurses are very polite they are working very hard to make sure everyone is well taken care of. The activity team always keeps me laughing and happy. Chris the executive director listens to my needs and actually follows up with my concerns. Being in this position isn’t ideal but if this happens I will be right here. Thanks Life Care.

Being here for some time now and this place very professionally ran. I'm really impressed by the nurses and not having to what too long to get my medications. The building is also exquisitely clean and I'm thoroughly impressed with the customer service coming from EVERYONE. After being in other facilities. This one is the most clean, professional, and has the best customer service. I really sense that people care about you here.

I'm a volunteer with hospice and I love coming to this facility. The staff is so nice and they make me feel welcome each time I come to do my visits. Also, the facility is very clean and the environment just seems really welcoming.
