REGENCY AT LIVONIA

I want to share my appreciation for the excellent care provided. The staff here are truly compassionate, professional, and dedicated to making residents feel safe and comfortable. Every nurse and CNA I’ve met goes above and beyond to treat each resident with kindness and respect. The facility is always clean, well-organized, and welcoming. Meals are nutritious and nicely prepared, and the activities keep residents engaged and happy. I’ve seen firsthand how the team works together to create a warm, family-like atmosphere.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the outstanding care my mother, Louise White, has received during her stay here. From the moment we walked in the facility, it felt less like an institution and more like a welcoming home. Here are some specific aspects that truly stood out to our family after we decided to place our mother here: * Dedicated and Friendly Staff: Every staff member, from the nurses (Crystal, Terralyn and Tanya) just to name a few and the CNAs and social workers, was approachable and happy to help. They treated my mother like a family member, which gave our entire family peace of mind. Their positive and professional manner was consistent every time we visited, regardless of the time of day. * Personalized Attention: The staff went above and beyond to make my mother feel comfortable. They knew her by name and always greeted her with a smile. * Engaging Activities: There are a variety of activities and social events which keeps the residents engaged and active. Lilly the director and her staff make sure that every resident is aware of activities for the day. They are always encouraged her to participate in activities. * Clean and Welcoming Environment: The facility was always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, reflecting a commitment to high standards of care. The positive environment significantly contributed to her well-being. The only complaint I have, sometimes there’s an unpleasant odors on the side of the building my mother resides. * Excellent Communication: The team was wonderful at communicating with our family, promptly answering all our questions and providing regular updates.

My family members experience there was not good. It looks nice when you arrive and the rooms are nice but many of the staff are not compassionate to the residents. My Dad stayed there and they would take forever to bring water when he asked. It shouldn’t take 2 hours or more for water. The food was always cold when served. My dad had another incident that I don’t even care to write because we are still upset. Regency of Livonia needs better management to oversee workers to make sure they are doing their jobs

My father in law spent the last week and a half here and I have to say we were very pleased. The staff from the first time we walked in the door until his discharge date were very welcoming, helpful, understanding, patient and amazing. My father in law has dementia and there is a language barrier but the staff kept in touch with me and called with any questions. The room was clean and kept clean, meals were prepped and served daily , the gated outdoor patio Is so nice for patients to be able to go outside (supervised of course). I got there one day and they had all the patients outside, having a cookout, hot dogs, burgers, chips, etc. Had some music and crafts for them to do. I was very happy to see that. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather and company. The nurses were amazing & upon discharge everything was explained to me in detail as far as medication, how to check his sugar, I was given his meds for the following day, and all paperwork was given to me. Definitely 5 star and will recommend to anyone in need or looking for a rehab facility to go to. Very happy with them

We have an elderly family member here. The staff especially the aids are always AWOL Not asking for much But the common sense normal tasks are not being done. Even when mentioned these simple care giving tasks are not being done Very disappointed. We will be looking elsewhere And you shold too
