The nurses and staff at Life Center of Blount County were so nice and helpful during my stay. They made me feel like the most important person there, and answered my call quickly when I needed them. The staff in the physical rehab center were so nice and friendly, and everyone was on a first name basis. They never pushed me beyond what I was capable of doing, and only encouraged me to reach my full potential. I recommend Life Center to anyone who needs help with recovering from any ailment, injury, or any condition that recovery is necessary. Thanks to all the staff, I have recovered well and quickly.
This was my second time at LifeCare this year and I can’t say enough about the great care I received. This time I was only there for a week following a second surgery to repair my shattered femur. I was so glad to have the opportunity to recuperate and get started with therapy there. The therapists, both PT and OT, are incredible and even though I was there for a short time, worked hard to get me moving and strong and headed in the right direction for outpatient. The nursing staff and Patient Care Assistants were kind and compassionate and quick to respond to my needs. Like most places right now, staffing is a challenge but everyone was working together to see that patient needs were met. My first stay was 2 months and I had an equally positive experience then as well. Highly recommend if you need a little extra care in a safe, clean environment!
I can’t say enough good things about this facility. The staff is compassionate, professional, and truly attentive to residents’ needs. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for. The residents receive excellent medical attention, and the nurses and aides go above and beyond every day. The facility is clean, well-organized, and has a warm, home-like atmosphere. Therapy services were also top-notch and made a real difference in the residents recovery. Highly recommend to any family looking for quality skilled nursing care!
I had a great experience visiting Life Care Centers of Blount County. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. Karla and Jane in Admissions were especially kind and helpful—both were patient, knowledgeable, and made the process feel easy and personal. You can tell they truly care about the families they work with. The facility itself was clean, well-kept, and had a warm atmosphere. I really appreciate the compassion and professionalism shown during my visit.
My father went to Life Care Center Blount County for six weeks to rehab a broken femur. The care from the facility was wonderful and he was well taken care of by the NP/nursing staff and especially the CNA's. The physical therapy program was exceptional and the physical therapists encouraged and pushed him to do as much as he could in the short period of time we were there. Each physical therapist knowledgeable and professional. Karla, who is in admissions, was amazing and truly cares about the patients and their families, guided us through the process of what to expect, and if we needed her assistance she was always there to help. An exceptional experience and highly recommend Life Care of Blount County!
