My mother was only at Green House Homes for a short time before she passed away but the staff could not have been more caring and compassionate. They were so kind to her as well as my sons and I during this very difficult time. They communicated with us as to her care and condition on a regular basis and were available for questions and concerns at any time. The accommodations were very comfortable and cheerful and the food smelled wonderful.

My Father has been at the Green House Homes at Mirasol for five years, now, and we are so thankful to have him in such a warm, caring environment that feels like home! The staff go above and beyond, and are appreciated immensely! This is an exceptional home for loved ones.

Best place EVER. Residents are in small houses. Caregivers are checking in frequently throughout the day. Our loved one was at Centre, who told us she "would not progress", and to find a nursing home for her. The team at Mirador had her up and walking on day one, and we are planning on her return to assisted living. This place is THE BEST. Staff is loving and caring. Ratios are low. Food is homemade and good. Staff is attentive. Our Mom is happy there.

I just removed my mother from the Green House Homes at Mirasol due to a COVID outbreak. Per Larimer County Health Dept,, as of 11/7/21, there are 7 employees and 8 residents with COVID. Three of the nine Green House Homes have COVID. I should have been forewarned when the e-files were sent to me upon admission and required a signature stating I had read and understood all attachments, when the attachments were not available until after I signed. My mother was put in a five-day quarantine upon admission. Larimer County Health told me this was only required if she left a facility where she was exposed to COVID. She actually came from a rehab owned/managed by Vivage - who also owns/manages Green House Homes at Mirasol. There was no exposure prior to discharge from the rehab facility. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website. You will pay a premium for a lack of communication between all staff - including doctors. My mother does not hear well, even with the latest technology; she has short-term memory loss also. I am her MPOA and wanted to speak to the doctor - who you are required to use. Neither one of them called me back when leaving a message. The second message had to do with my mother's recent visit to the ER. I waited 10 days before contacting the Supv. of Nursing. She called and left the PCP a message to call me. The PCP called from a private line leaving a message that she would call back in 2 hours. She never did. I had to leave notes in her room so that staff would remember to charge her hearing aids at night. I met her at her orthopedic doctor's office and her hearing aids were dead. We were all upset and frustrated that he could not communicate with us and vice verse. This happened frequently. My mother's house consisted of 10 residents. At least 5 were memory care and wandered around the house or were planted in front of the community TV to watch cartoons. My mother never had anyone to talk to since the remaining 4 residents never left their rooms - not even for meals. I was told she could go to other houses for bingo or visits. She played bingo once. The visits never happened. None of the residents were allowed to visit each other in their rooms. There was a maximum of two family visitors at one time. My mother was diagnosed with incontinence. She was never incontinent before moving in there. She told me the staff put her in a diaper and encouraged her to use it overnight. The times I was there, it took 15-20 minutes to respond to her pushing her button. There is more, but this should be enough. Oh, by the way, they just increased monthly rent by $500. This takes it to $12,900. Don't assume you get what you pay for at Mirasol.
