FOUNTAIN BLUE REHAB AND NURSING

Absolutely hideous and horrible nurses. Patient is being mistreated, force fed medication that causes allergic reactions, and gets ignored when they ask if they can get help with their breathing because of their chronic illness. I WAS PRIVY TO THIS WHEN BEING ON THE PHONE WITH THE PATIENT AND HEARD THE REQUEST AND THE NURSE IGNORED THE PATIENT. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!

Is zero stars an option? Absolutely 0/10. All of the reviews I see are old, so either they are deleting bad reviews and/or they changed directors and things have gone down hill since. If you have a loved one here you haven’t heard of or seen in a while I would check on them ASAP. Cleanliness 0/10 the place should be a biohazard. Nurses? I don’t know how they have their licenses. Call button pressed multiple times (after having to physically fix the call button) and all calls either ignored or the nurse came in just to turn the light off and ignore patient. Patient didn’t get his medication in until 2 days later and the water pill was one of the major concerns. Dietary restrictions not followed at all (not helping water pill situation). Came in to rehab for PT and literally ZERO PT was done. Had to leave via ambulance due to an infection!!!!! Antibiotics weren’t administered following major hip surgery on top of the overall filth of the place created a major infection. I hope this place gets shut down.

The staff is nice but extremely overworked and understaffed. The weekend staff is the worst. No one seems to know anything and they don't seem overly confident about it. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my loved one here on a long-term basis.

The food is not good in it not clean 😒 the Employee's isn't nice 😕

Macon’s best kept secret! This facility is exceptionally clean and home-like. From the time you walk in the door you are greeted by happy faces. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The residents appear well cared for and content. The administrator and his team could not be nicer. This is the place you want your loved one if short term rehab or long term care is what you need. You won’t get better care than what Fountain Blue is providing!
