My mom currently resides at this location. I'm getting her removed immediately. Staff allows residents to sit in urine and feces for hours at a time, after the call bell is hit, without checking our changing them. They do not clean or give baths. Even the wash offs they give are half ass. My mom's medications have not been given on time (even considering the hour before hour after window). She also hasn't been given all her medications, even though they are in system to be given. To say they don't care is an understatement. This place definitely is nice on the outside and some parts of the inside, but the staff, on 2nd and 3rd, especially, are horrible! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! I pray today my mom comes home!

My mother was out in here for PT. PT was good but everything else was awful. The people on first shift were good but second shift and especially 3rd shift was sorry. They never checked on her, always giving her meds late or not giving her some. Messed up her good orders. One said yeah we are supposed to check on them every couple of hrs but if family is there they can call us if they want something. She basically said we don't check on them . Don't take your love ones there. You will be sorry. Another friend of mine dad is there. He went in not sick and now he's sick. They got COVID all around them. It's sad situation. Don't get me wrong there is a few caring nurses and techs there. But there is a lot that don't.

Terrible place to b. Staff won't help you. You sit in wet diapers all day. Rehab slow. Won't answer lights. Can't get meds.

I had to put my mom in a 24 hour facility about 4 years ago because her health was declining and she could no longer live independently. I wrestled with the fact that it was the right thing to do. It is comforting to have the staff of Ashton Health to assist me with her care. I love the care she receives and her interaction she has with all of the staff. My mom is no longer mobile but I have some wonderful nurses like Buffy and Becky to help me day and night to make sure she has a quality life and she gets the care she needs. Front desk staff also pitches in to help as well like Wendy and Harmony. Thank you Ashton Health Staff!

I spent several months in Ashton Place recovering from a stroke and heart failure. I'm 41 years old and I had no idea what to expect from living in a nursing home. The facility is very clean and the atmosphere is good. It's active enough to stay stimulated but not so much that it's overwhelming. The facility is REALLY clean and the food is good too. Playing bingo was definitely my favorite thing to do. People get crazy in bingo! Ha! It was a little scary. I healed in ways that were unexpected. Therapy was EXCELLENT and the PT and OT teams were able to help me go from completely immobile (totally bedridden) to being able to sit upright and function with every day tasks. The staff was remarkably patient with me if I lashed out because of pain or fear. Watching the way that some of the staff handled distressed patients taught me how to react when people are explosive. No one wants to be a paralyzed 41 yo! My entire life is different now and I'm so grateful for ALL of the emotional and physical healing that took place because of the Ashton Place team. So grateful.
