My husband was cared for at your facility. He was sent home and with an unauthorized WHEEL CHAIR...The person in charge immediately called me and asked me to drive 50 miles to them and take it back. I told her I do not drive out of town and it was her mistake. She made an appointment to pick it up here on the coast and did not show up. I called and spoke with her the next day and her answer was "I did not go to the Coast this weekend" and perhaps a colleage of mine will drive there and get it. I do not want to be charge on my United Health Ins. I want it removed as my husband is now on hospice and I am busy with apts.

I recently had the opportunity to visit a friend a few months ago when they were staying for therapy, and I can’t express enough how impressed I was with the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It truly felt like a welcoming home rather than just a facility. What stood out the most during my visit was the exceptional care provided by the staff, especially the activity director, Haley. She was not only kind and compassionate but also went out of her way to ensure my friend was comfortable and treated with the utmost respect. The nursing director was also the most amazing woman as well. I left with a sense of peace knowing that my friend was in such capable and caring hands. I highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a place where compassion and respect are the foundation of care. Five stars without a doubt!

Yesterday, I visited a friend at Lifecare and she told me of how she was cared for by the staff. The care center really takes excellent care of the residents. Their staff are upbeat and positive. Her only complaint was with the doctor who is on contract to see residents seems to be pretty uncaring. SShe & her roommate said they call him "Doctor N G" for doctor, "No Good". The person I visited had NO PROBLEMS with lower leg swelling in the past. But, for the last several months she's had a LOT of lower extremity edema, causing her to be bed bound. Yesterday, when Dr. No Good came to make his rounds, instead of being concerned over this new problem, he told her, "Well, just use compression stockings" ... Uuuummm I'm not a doctor, but when a "patient" reports something significant like this... wouldn't you want to run a few tests, evaluate her meds (for a delayed side effect - think Lisinopril), or investigate what's going on? Unfortunately, this MD doesn't "see" the people in this care home. It's apparent that to this doctor the people there are "throw aways". Please see if you can find a doctor who actually cares! Thank you.

First impressions; this facility has very friendly staff, but they may be understaffed. Waiting for further interaction. After one full week at Life Care, my impression has improved. The nursing staff are friendly and attentive, but actually are understaffed, especially on the weekend. The food provided is well prepared and has much variety. Showers could be provided more frequently, but again may need more staff. The physical training staff there are the best; especially a nurse named Judy.

The facility is very well organized; they use an electronic visitor registration system. The staff is very attentive, and all necessary equipment is provided. The rooms are nice and there are window views of outdoor foliage. I feel my mother will be well taken care of during her short stay.
