If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would.....Not comfortable regarding the facility conditions and the way the staff appears to be short. They need new funding so they can have a better facility with better conditions. And they may need new or MORE staff. Every time I walked through this place visiting my loved one there for rehab, the phone rang off the hook every time I needed to call in. And when I walked in, there was always an unattended phone ringing...nobody was at the desk but one time to make sure we signed in. This is a huge red flag for any medical field especially the care for the elderly. It's almost as if ANYBODY can just walk in to this building. IF they are short staffed, add more staff and FAST. You are NOT declining taking any new patients in for rehab clearly so why not make sure the facility is in the best shape it could be? I waited for the phone ringing for almost 10 minutes because I had a question and it kept ringing. Maybe more staff so your phones can be answered? I am not saying anybody needs to be fired but they need a big turn around to happen. The insurance companies should do more research before paying the medical costs for patients to go to facilities just like this. When was the last time they had a building inspection? How is this ok for the staff to work under such conditions. Don't get me started with how the water is set up for the guests....Let's just say I bring her fresh ice water in a huge insulated cup to swap out with hers during each visit. I can't believe no staff member has went on strike or went to the news.

My mother has been here for long term care for about 8 months now and I normally never leave a review but I am so blessed to leave her at a facility where her care is their priority. It is an absolutely beautiful facility and they make my mother feel like she’s home!! I see her everyday and they love her and I couldn’t be more grateful. Best decision I’ve made!!!!!

I heard of Glenridge by a friend and I loved every part of the facility. From the admissions to the discharge. My father came here for short term rehab and they treated him like their own. He came out better than he went it and I will 100% be referring him to everyone I know. The treatment was amazing and they tended to everything we needed

This is a great place for your loved ones if you want them sitting in their feces for seven hours. We've learned the hard way that if your call button isn't answered for hours, it can be ripped out of the wall to make a different noise, which is also ignored. If a resident goes to the nursing station, they can expect to be ignored for several minutes before they are acknowledged. Dog kill shelters are more humane. Update for RegalCare at Glen Ridge. I'm currently filing an elder abuse claim on Mass.gov. August 6th, 2025: I brought my father lunch today and watched Joseph do wound care. Joseph was bare handed - no latex gloves - and walked in and out of the room touching who knows what along the way. He couldn't find the appropriate bandages. Getting anyone on the phone beyond Shayla at the front desk, who found this no glove information funny in that awkward 'I don't know what to do with this information', is impossible as I was transferred to the Oak Grove nurses station who don't answer their phone. A problem I mentioned in my Department of Public Health complaint. To say I hate this facility is an understatement. If other families have had similar experiences, please contact me via LinkedIn. 10/21/2025 RegalCare at Glen Ridge's Facebook page vs reality. On the left, a stock photo with delicious looking food vs. the photo on the right, a plate of cold peas and two scoops of instant mashed potatoes that RCGR serves.
