My wife came there to get better. After 2 weeks there, her insurance cancelled and that quick she was out that center. The place smelled, was dirty, they hardly washed her up and they were all pretty rude staff. Now I work with people everyday, it's our jobs to make them happy. Especially working in a health field your job is to care for people, it's such a shame that people who work in healthcare don't care about their patients, their just a number!
My husband left the hospital and came to the facility, unit manager/nurse going through orders before PT was made comfortable, orders needed to be clarified, tube feedings never started, no flushes, they couldn't give him his needed meds because they didn't have the right equipment, staff reported to me things during the night but nurses notes don't reflect it. Not responsive to his needs. The facility and the staff were not able to give safe care to my husband. I spoke with some staff who gave me options on what I could do. Nurse also said it would be better to send him back to the hospital. He was taken back to the hospital.
There therapists were very good when they assessed him, and the staff was kind but overwhelmed with my husband's needs.
My early experience with Fountainview has been positive. I have transferred my parents there within the last month. The staff is friendly and attentive to all concerns. The food is excellent and my parents have complimented the cuisine and feel well treated by the medical and administrative staff.
We have had an overall positive experience at Brickyard. All the staff has been very friendly and kind. They address our concerns as soon as they are able. When issues arise, we receive timely phone calls and the issues are addressed promptly. My mom enjoys the food and looks forward to socializing with her friends in the dining room.
Allowed a hospice to give my son a medicine he should not have. After his passing, took over a month to get half of his belongings. I've been trying to get his medical records, which they seem not to want me to have.
