My mom is a current patient in for physical rehab. I give the treatment and staff a 5 start review! Physical and occupational therapist are wonderful. Their goal is patient Independence. The aids, nurses and staff all put the patient first. The administrators door is open and he is willing to talk. I am pleasantly surprised at how caring they are. Mom's first day, she mentioned she needed a manicure. They have a manicurist! She was off, so one of the ladies did it for her! Today they did foot care, and tomorrow, for a small fee, she will get a shampoo and style. Mom has been kept impecibly clean with daily baths and new clothing and linens. We were allowed to bring her favorite things from home, including her soft blanket for a personal touch. The furniture and bed are comfortable. She is assigned a wheelchair while she regains strength that only she uses. This might be an older facility, but it's cleaned and maintained. Today, for frames were painted and yesterday, some tioilets were replaced. Staff is always smiling and thoughtful. Downside? Sure. Ring the bell when you think you have to go to the bathroom and not at the last minute. They have other people to care for, but they do get there reasonably fast. That's really on us, tho, isn't it? If you aren't pleased with the menu, they do have alternate choices. You are also welcome to bring food from home barring any restrictions your loved one has. We appreciate the attention to detail from the top on down. Good job! Mom recently stayed at a nearby facility and Havencrest has been better across the board.

Very poor care. My husband broke out in a terrible rash after the first night there. He was on a torn mattress. See through sheets. When I spoke up the RN on duty got very nasty with me. His second night after the mattress was changed he had to sleep on the bar of the bed. Once again a new mattress. He had a broken pelvic in 2 places. Never got feed the first night. Food was terrible. Nursing staff terrible. I stood in front of the nursing desk for over two minutes while 4 of them was on their phones texting and a nurse at the end of the counter was eatching them and did nothing. I finally spoke up and they all tried to throw my husbands care on each other. Not knowing who his nurse was. I snapped and the RN decided she better take care of me because I told them the next person they saw me with was my lawyer and someone from the board of health. That did nothing. Staff was not afraid of that at all. This place does not clean the rooms daily and his cath bag was put in a garbage can beside his bed which was used for his gatbage which they let over flow. I can go on about this place but not worth it. You all can get the ideal. Very Unprofessional staff and disgusting place to have to leave your love one.

My mother-in-law was just at Havencrest for a month of rehab after a fall and a subsequent hospital stay. The staff is excellent! Everyone from the business office, social worker, nurses, aides and PT was so kind to her and looked after her with a lot of care. The facility is very clean. She liked the food very much too, which was a bonus!

My aunt was there for just a few days, as her bed in the nursing home she wanted to go to wouldn't be ready for a few days. When discussing this with the nurse she got very defensive and major attitude about transferring her. The physical therapist also told her she will not be going anywhere. Needless to say, we had my aunt moved the next day. They had her crammed in a tiny room with three other patients. There was barely even room to turn around. There were gnats flying around, and when you approached the nurses station, they immediately looked annoyed. Lastly, they do not tell you how to exit the locked building, and in trying to get out we set off an alarm, which no one even came to see why it was going off. Do yourself a favor and do not put any of your family members in this place.

I believe they are the worse rehab care home. They give patients their medicine not on time at breakfast and then at noon no matter what. Suppose to be given at night. Confronted the nurse he said that's how they do it. I wouldn't put my animals in that place.
