I would like to thank All the Staff who took care of my Mom for the past 10 years. From Nursing, Physical Therapy, Activity, Social Work, Housekeeping and Administration. They all treated her like a family. They all went extra mile and I appreciate it. She’s going back to Philippines. God bless all of you!

During my mother’s three-week stay at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, the care she received was outstanding. She arrived with severe leg wounds and couldn’t walk, so the staff provided both wound care and physical therapy as part of her short-term rehab. From the very beginning, everyone made her feel supported and cared for.
The wound care team, led by Remi and her skilled colleagues, provided exceptional care with precision and compassion. They assessed my mother’s wounds daily, ensuring proper cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring of healing progress. Their communication was excellent—they kept both my mother and our family informed about her treatment plan and next steps, patiently explaining everything in detail. The wound team shone through in the way her team worked seamlessly together, combining clinical expertise with genuine empathy. Their consistent attention and warm bedside manner brought comfort and confidence throughout her recovery, making a remarkable difference in her healing journey.
The therapy team, led by Justin, demonstrated outstanding professionalism, skill, and unwavering encouragement throughout my mother’s rehabilitation. Each day, Justin, along with Ralph, Kristen, Ruth, and the rest of the therapy staff, worked closely with her to build strength, improve mobility, and restore her confidence in walking. They tailored exercises to her specific needs, patiently guiding her through each step while celebrating even the tiniest milestones. Their combined expertise and positive approach transformed what started as 30 feet of walking in the first week into an impressive 1,200 feet by the end of the third week. This remarkable progress was a testament to their dedication and the supportive, motivating environment they created.
The nurses and CNAs were also incredible. They provided excellent care and were always kind and patient, no matter how busy things got. They kept my family informed about every step of her treatment and made sure she was comfortable and safe at all times. The nurses explained her medications and updates clearly, while the CNAs helped with daily care and offered constant encouragement. Their caring attitude and professionalism truly stood out and played a big part in her healing.
The front desk staff went above and beyond as well, always friendly, organized, and ready to help with any questions. Dee, in particular, was excellent—she always had the answers and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. It was such a relief knowing that we could rely on her and the team for quick, accurate information.
Thanks to the dedication and compassion of everyone at Meadowbrook Manor, my mother made a remarkable recovery. Her wounds healed beautifully, and she grew stronger each day. From the skilled wound care and therapy teams to the caring nurses and friendly front desk staff, every person played a part in her life. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about their residents and takes great pride in helping them heal. Meadowbrook Manor is truly a place of comfort, care, and recovery, and our family is deeply grateful for everything they did for my mother.

My mother stayed here in rehab for over 70 days. The staff is very nice and attentive. The rehab department did a bang up job trying to get her back home. There were a lot of patients needing more help so staff can be stretched thin at times but were always smiling. Compared to another Naperville facility down the street, Meadowbrook was better.

My mom was a resident here a couple years ago and it was terrible. The staff is incompetent and doesn’t care about the patients. She didn’t have heat the last few months she lived there. She would often get a sandwich which just bread served for dinner. When we first got there, they failed to use my mother’s insurance so we were stuck with a huge bill because of their incompetence.
