ST ANDREW'S AT NEW FLORENCE

The problem here is the D.O.N and the executive director. Both of my interactions with them have been somewhat confusing as they are defensive when asked questions. There is always a sign for hiring now so it is understandable that why they can’t keep staff. I also wonder if they clean the residents rooms as the room my family is in smells of urine always. The facility could use a cleaning and a face lift. Walking in feels dark and unkempt there’s rusted metal floor heater in the entry way. The landscaping hasn’t had is over grown. So if the little things aren’t taken care of are they caring for our love one? Mine always says they don’t want to make any one mad so they don’t use the call light. No one should ever feel that way when being taken care of by professionals or anyone else.

Wonderful place, cant say enough good things about them. My mom became a resident in Feb 2018. I was so worried and concerned that she wouldn't be taken good care of. Well, they have exceeded my expectations. I've not seen my mom happier in years. They treat her like family and are so kind to her. I HIGHLY recommend St Andrew's at New Florence. I live in Ofallon and the 45 min drive is worth it. So if you live in St Charles county, don't hesitate to check them out. Way better than most of the facilities in St Charles county. I'm so glad I found it! Thank you to all of the wonderful caring staff for taking exceptional care of my mother.

Very few of the nurses care. Before they closed the nursing home because of covid 19 my aunt had her help light on for 15 minutes until I walked down the hall to the desk to ask them to help her use the bathroom, all of the nurses were standing around talking. I do not recommend this place to anyone if you care about your family member.

This is a great nursing home, my mother lived there for 4 years and could not ask for better care. Marsha and the employees are very caring
