We placed my mom here in February after a beautiful memory care unit said they couldn’t care for her that she needed skilled nursing. It was very hard to find an open bed, but they had one open up. Do not judge on the appearance! All of the staff is outstanding, friendly and caring! Mom is getting fantastic care. The place is clean and does not smell! We finally can relax that she is in good hands!
This was second visit to facility às rehab. All the people here are like family. Of course knowing many from a 4 month stay and suffering through 2 hurricanes in 2024 in our area. Spending time with all the help in emergency situation gave a extra knowledge of just how and much they care for each patient. The rehab staff is knowledgeable and if you let them they will do there best to help you. Nurses and staff in some cases are short handed but everyone is cared for. Your stay is guided by you? Every staff is well trained and experienced. No one goes without personal time by there aids or nurse. The management is always available for consultation. Enjoy your stay
As a vendor who visits multiple SNF’s in the area as well as working in the field for 25+ years I love visiting Aspire at Ridge Haven. The staff and residents are always so welcoming. The residents look happy and well cared for. I can tell when talking with the staff that they truly care.
The staff is kind and considerate. I have one major complaint. The patients don't have phones in rooms. Family can not call the patient. The patients can't call out unless they ask the nurse to use her phone. Most people have cell phones now a days but many elderly are unable to use a cell phone such as my family member. I've had family here for many months and this is of major concern to me. If I want to talk to my family member, I have to physically go to the facility to see them.
I would like to take a moment to commend Aspire's facility at Ridge Haven. My younger sister has been a resident there for several years. The staff at Ridge Haven are wonderful caring professionals who have helped my sister with her health issues with kindness, dignity, and understanding. They have always had an open line of communication with the family, and address concerns immediately. My sister loves this facility, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she is receiving.
