GLEN ISLAND CENTER FOR NURSING AND REHABILITATION

It’s been a wonderful day at Glen Island. It was my choice to come here and I’m very proud that I came here. The nurses have been great. The doctor was fantastic. I got good service. I was treated nicely. The food was good. I give them an A+

I was at Glen Island from August 12 to October 11. I was thankful for having Joann and Sarah for therapy along with Lori and her meeting staff of Therapist. I could give a shout and a special thanks to Maxine the CNA and her two colleagues that came in to assist when needed Stephanie and Felicia. I also like to add Williams if I’m not mistaken and king who worked the overnight. Special things also goes out to Shelby and Raquel the social worker. Thank you to all of you and the rest of the staff for making my stay as best and comfortable as possible. P.S Like to give a special things to the housekeeping staff who kept the facilities, clean, neat and safe. I love seeing the groundhog every time I was at therapy outside the window.

Firstly I'd like to say that working within these facilities is not easy. I must commend the staff ( I haven't met everyone) but it takes a certain type of individual to work in these rehabs. I have experienced kind, caring, patient, polite and understanding staff members. ( With good bedside manner as well) The rehab center is newly renovated and clean unlike many others. The location is not only conveniently located to me but there are many shops close by if needed. Visiting hours are great. To each their own when it comes to their experience here. I have mostly positive feelings. Ps. IF I experience any issues or problems when it comes to my mom whom is rehabbing here. I bring it to the staffs attention and the situation is rectified in a timely manner.

My uncle has been a resident at Glen Island Center for Rehab and Nursing Care and our family could not be more pleased with the quality of care he has received. The staff go above and beyond to make sure he feels comfortable, supported, and respected. He enjoys the activities offered, he is consistently treated with compassion. We’ve seen a positive difference in his well-being since his time here. We are truly grateful to everyone who cares for him each day.

My daughter has been at this facility for 10 weeks. It is a rare gem as far as Nursing Homes / Rehabilitation Centers go. The facility is clean, and renovated, which of course is a must have. Another must have is a staff that is professional, skilled, caring, and compassionate. My family and I have found the staff at Glen Island to be the finest, one could ever hope for. I wanted to recognize Shelly, Janette, and TJ for the very special care they have extended to my daughter, and the kindness that they have extended to my family and me, since my daughter’s arrival. My daughter’s every need is addressed in a timely manner, with compassion, professionalism and skill. We have been made to feel as if we are part of a family, since the first day of my daughter’s admission. Thank you Shelly, Janette, and TJ for all you have done, your contribution to my daughter’s rehabilitation is noteworthy and appreciated. 👏🏻🧡
