I enjoyed my time here. I met a lot of great people , and made a lot of friends. Answering call light is a little slow but all in all, I was taken care of very well . Hillcrest is a great place to stay .

Initially, my Mother was completing her inpatient rehabilitation after an unplanned surgery. Although the physical therapy proved to be more than her body was capable of enduring, the therapists were empathetic with her, and formulated a plan that would hopefully help her to slowly regain a sense of independence. Unfortunately, pre-existing health morbidities worsened, which caused her to then become a member of the nursing home community. During her final hours, the care, compassion, courtesy, and respect shown by everyone from the Administration, Clinical, Clerical, Dietary, Environmental Services, and ANY AND EVERYONE I may have missed was FRIENDLY, THOROUGH, and simply OUTSTANDING! She was treated as a member of their FAMILY as opposed to a resident! There were numerous times we would come to visit and surprisingly be greeted by staff engaged in encouraging and lighthearted conversation with her while attending to her needs….even though she was unable to speak. One particular evening of many late night into the early morning visits my siblings and the rest of our family had, the night shift and 2 particular clinical members accommodated us by “relocating” my Mother into a room that not only allowed us more space to “congregate” in a central location, but it preserved the respect, privacy, and comfort of the remaining community in the nursing home so they could sleep in peace. That spoke volumes of the care and concern the staff has. The morning of my Mother’s transition, that same compassion and courtesy from day 1 continued until the moment her body took its last ride down Mitzi Drive. Everything from the care given, the empathy shown, the consistent checking to see if we needed anything, the constant replenishment of refreshments, to the request of Prayer as she took her final walk through the halls… THANK YOU! YOU ARE APPRECIATED ❤️ The Family of Verlene L. Holden

Well, I thought it was very, very adequate. I like the physical therapy. Food was good. I am vegetarian and so they made accommodations for that which was very nice. I had very good care overall I did have some problems with the night crew a few times, but in general, it was a great stay and very good care.
