My mother was admitted to this facility in May. From the moment I was greeted by Debbie and Sally, I knew this was where I wanted my mother to reside. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and very professional. The staff that was assigned to take care of my mother went above and beyond their duties. She was treated like family, especially when she was moved to the 2nd floor under Sharisse Washington. I will never forget the compassion that was shown to my family. I would highly recommend this facility.

I have a Family member who is a patient there and I felt the necessity to leave this review. First I want to thank the staff on the second floor. The amount of care provided is stellar. In particular I want to acknowledge Virginia. Her caring and professionalism is beyond compare. She consistently keeps me and my Family updated, explains the care provided and makes us as a Family feel secure in knowing our Family member is receiving the best care possible. Thanks to Virginia we are all at ease and have less stress knowing our Family member is being treated respectfully. Thank You Virginia and the staff on the second floor (wish I knew everyone’s name) for all you do.

We feel very fortunate to have found affinity as a special place to take care of our mother. The staff is friendly and kind and very helpful and work truly hard as we have observed over many days. The office staff is outstanding with their support and they’re open door policy. Lauren ,Shelley, Melissa and Kristin have been an essential part of our journey through a difficult time. They’re willingness to answer any question .

My mother had a wonderful experience on one the north east and west side. The nurses are very good, physical therapist’s are wonderful. Housekeeping can use more help. The front desk a wonderful. Social worker is very nice. Food is not healthy. You can tell the staff is very overworked and trying as hard as they can.

So my review of affinity, I was discharged from Saint Catherine’s hospital, which I was treated with the best care. I could possibly wish for the coming out of a coma, having a stroke, kidney failure, and MRSA in my foot, which left a tremendous hole in it, I was transferred by ambulance to affinitywhere I was given a single room because I was positive for MRSA. Getting situated and meeting my great nurse Jeff all of a sudden administration came into my room and told me I needed to move my room because they needed it. Meanwhile, there was 16 literally 16 other single rooms available that I witnessed myself for some reason they moved me into a tiny room with a gentleman who is disgusting with his hygiene, leaving feces on the toilet bowl on the walls Housekeeping was disgusting. They did not clean anything for days. I only lasted three days. The pictures you will see below. The food I can’t even begin to tell you how disgusting it was. The portions were not even enough for my three year-old daughter, and the quality of the food was horrific. We were given condiments, sparingly, and it was from another country. I am diabetic, and I was on Glucerna in the hospital when I came to affinity it took two days and then to get me the same diet, which isn’t too hard to put a glucerna on my tray. Like many other reviews on here I had to depend on Uber eats and DoorDash. I’m on Social Security disability. I’ve been in the hospital for many many months, so my finances was very very limited. Had to pay for my meals. I would’ve starve to death. You can even ask the PT nurses they would say the same thing how how they felt so bad that people had to go to PT and go back to a meal that was disgusting Finally, this all happened within three days I discharged myself after being told because I had a history 10 years ago of substance abuse which I’ve been clean from and very proud of, and I will admit it here, but I could not go out and visit my daughter, which I have not seen in eight months because I was sick with Mercer at that point in time I had to self discharge I had enough They took my laundry two days before I discharge myself and I never received it back to this day. I have a court case in Suffolk County small claims to sue them for the clothes that they lost and would not replace cut me a check for if you send your loved one here, you are absolutely crazy. You can contact me Personally that’s how I stand by my review. I’ve not been contacted by anybody from this disgusting Wanna Be rehab about my clothes or any of my opinions that I was very upset about please do not send your loved ones. Here is a deplorable place for us to rob Medicare of your money. They ruined my skin graft by not taking care of my wound on my foot and I had to start all over they sent me back two months. Take care and I please beg you not to send your love one here. It is a hell hole it looks all fancy from the outside, but it is very deceiving. Ask them to take a tour before you do and the smell of feces and urine on the floors. You’ll see what I’m saying to see the portions of food there are such liars I would rather be in Riverhead jail than this place. The staff is rude and nasty. The only person in the whole place that I thought was nice was my Nurse Jeff on the second floor. He was amazing young man, but besides that good luck.
