Harrison pointe is an amazing facility with exceptional staff. The care my father received was given with compassion and kindness. My deepest gratitude to the nurses, CNA’s, therapists and kitchen staff that helped get him back home safely. The facility will always hold a special place in my family’s heart. Thank you Harrison Pointe!

I appreciate the care and caring given by the staff at Harrison Pointe for my sister. I am aware that she was sometimes difficult and yet she was helped and watched over with admirable service. Thank you to all the staff. When we recently came for her burial services we were helped greatly by Elva and Sandy. I hope that the administrators will know of the valuable assets they have in those two employees. I have worked as a hospital administrator, a licensed nursing home administrator, and as a home health administrator for the past 41 years. I've learned to recognize good people who make a difference in the quality of the services you offer. Sandy and Elva are both of a caring nature and increase the rating of your entire organization.

My mind is blown by the positive comments—this has to be a joke. This place is the dirtiest, nastiest facility I've ever been in. The smell when you walk in is enough to make you want to vomit. I don’t know what it is, but it was like that every single time we entered. The facility is filthy and desperately in need of maintenance. The bathroom faucets are falling apart, the paint is chipped and peeling throughout, and the grout in the bathrooms is black—while the grout on the matching wall tile is beige—clearly showing that the floors are never cleaned. My father-in-law’s stay here was absolutely miserable. He was there for three weeks and I don’t think he ate a single full meal. His food was so salty he couldn’t stand to eat it. One meal even had actual chunks of salt. He’s not even supposed to have salt in his diet! He was transferred from the hospital to this facility, and on his first night, they left him in pain without any help. He had to call his daughter to come assist him. The only way he received consistent care was if one of us was there with him. If we couldn’t be there, he was neglected. He asked for his medication at 8 a.m., and they put him off all day. He finally had to get out of bed and walk to the nurses' station at 8 p.m. to ask for it himself. There were a few very caring staff members—Rachel and a few others stood out—but most of the staff simply didn’t do their jobs. He said it was so loud at night that he couldn’t sleep because doors were constantly slamming. We were all so relieved when we were finally able to transfer him to a different care facility. If you have no choice but to use this facility, make sure you’re constantly checking on and advocating for your loved one. Do not leave them there alone—they will not receive proper care.

My mom was here after abdominal surgery. First room was in a hallway where the smell was pretty strong. Then was moved to a different room and the smell was way better. Staff was caring, they tried to help as soon as possible. She did complain about the food not having much flavor or too much salt. But overall her stay there was good.
