THE LODGE AT BROOKLINE

I have tried on multiple occasions to contact this place to check on my husband he is a patient there and all I get is an answering machine. I leave a message and no one ever calls back. I've called from the front desk to the executive and no calls back. I will call state and see if they can check on him for me, as I am in another state. I will call state on Monday morning bright and early

This facility is very noisy. My complaints have been ignored. There is a lot of thievery, my complaints have been ignored. There is never a quiet afternoon or evening. My room is located by the back door where the laundry dumpsters and trash dumpsters are brought in 24/7. I have suggested a strip of carpet be put in this hallway to cut down on noise. There is a lot of talking, shouting, laughing, arguing, and my complaints have been ignored . This door is also the door used for cigarette smokers and weed smokers. The people are nice, but services are terribly lacking.

This facility is one that no senior or other should be a patient. The lack of care is inexcusable. Our experience was short-lived due to the absence of nurses and others who simply did not respond to request for timely help with baths, dinning, needed trips to the bathroom and more. We actually had a nurse recommend not following the doctors prescribed orders. When we advised management of these things we were told we could leave and go to another facility. During the recent Super Bowl most of the staff (very understaffed at the time) were watching the game and not answering calls for assistance. The mood of this facility is depressing and the overall appearance is extremely tired and unkept. Finding a good skilled nursing facility or assisted living center is very difficult and very expensive in OKC. At the very least these facilities should provide the basic care and services needed to allow patients to maintain their dignity and self-respect. A little love along the way would be greatly appreciated as well.

Do not bring anyone here if you really care about them. Horrible place. Inexcusable. Pam is a really great nurse but that is the extent of it. It’s straight out of a horror film. Patients screaming for help, nurses not responding to people needing help. My mother in law was stuck in the bathroom for about 2 hours needing help and no one cared. Rude workers. And she also contracted staph from this facility and suffered severe foot burns. They do not care at all. They’re lazy. This place needs to be shut down or something needs to be done. Horrible place. Horrible horrible

Beware of Kristen (C.N.A) worked the night of April 1, 2021 , she FALSELY accused my mother of smoking marijuana in the room while visiting my grandmother, this was not only offensive but very emotional for us , we are just trying to make the best of the time we have left to spend with our loved one and for this nurse to just come in yelling in the room accusing of marijuana usage is just so wrong! She needs to be fired! Not only was that so unprofessional but now we don't feel safe or comfortable leaving our loved one while she's here, it's now 11:37 pm and we can't leave due to the fear that that nurse, Kristen might take out on our loved one, she was just so aggressive in the way she was yelling and accusing ! We've emailed the facility in hopes someone will get back to us about this matter asap!!!!
