LIFE CARE CENTER OF OLD HICKORY VILLAGE

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else This is my 3rd time here and the staff is so friendly and welcoming and it’s a very comfortable place to be if I have to be anywhere but home Kudos to everyone on staff. Ty for my good car and the physical therapy is amazing ! My quad muscle is back funtioning after needing to be repaired. Between my total knee replacement and the quad repair PT has me up and walking pretty good . It’s not even two weeks and I’ve come so far. All I can say is LCCA and the staff is great . And the food is good too

Ive toured a lot of facilities and this facility is the nicest one I've been to in the Nashville area. Beautiful inside and out. No odors lingering in the halls like a lot of nursing facilities. I've had nothing but pleasant encounters with the staff. They smile and greet you as you enter the building and are quick to help if needed. Residents in the common areas are dressed nicely and seem well cared for. There are several beautiful courtyards that the residents have access to with shade, water features and even a putting green if golf is your thing! The therapy department is large and has a lot of different equipment and stations for strength & conditioning. There is also an outdoor therapy walking path that includes steps and different ground/floor textures to help ensure your loved one will be safe on all surfaces. I visited while staff was serving lunch and the food smelled good too! Overall, my visit went very well and I would feel very comfortable leaving my loved one in Life Care hands.

If you have family that needs rehab and has any pain issues, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! Most of the nursing staff doesn't care about an old person's pain. You ask for pain meds and have to wait an extra hour or two while your loved one SUFFERS. One nurse is quite bossy and rude. I won't name her. However, Brittany, Bonnie and Gloria will get 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 they are very caring and compassionate. The therapy staff are very kind and caring. Housekeeping staff does a great job.

Due to my grandfather being transferred from the hospital, I believe we didn’t have much say so on his room accommodation. He is in a shared room, which should have been told before arrival. The evening staff the first night wasn’t much of help. I was told numerous times that they didn’t know but we could wait until the next morning . His second night there, he wasn’t feeling well and I noticed his oxygen line wasn’t connected to the wall. I had asked ,as well as ,a nurse offered to bring longer cord on the day of his arrival. It wasn’t delivered until day 2 because I personally went to the desk and didn’t leave until I received it. This is not our first time at this facility. The last stay, the staff was friendly and helpful from the first day to the last. I hope and pray that this week, starting Monday is a little easier and a little better.

Beautiful and caring environment and employees. This was the perfect setting for my sister to transition it was more of a home setting like a bedroom. We were able to stay with her until the end. She was satisfied and so were we it was NOT a Hospital setting it was as close to home setting. Thank you for caring.
