Wonderful staff! All of administration is very accommodating with my other schedules like school and anything involving my kids. I actually left for a couple of months and could not wait to come back “home” to Helia!

It's kinda weird truly, you enter I believe the side door with the arch? When you do the alarm goes off. I'm not sure there is another way? I get it I'm sure the alarm goes off in case someone wonders out? Really wasn't greeted and was looked at like I wasn't wanted to be dealt with but... I wanted to visit my Aunt. It all felt off putting and unfriendly. I'm a bit saddened by the whole situation, however Im sure it's a very tough job, I know I wouldnt have the heart or strength to work their... Bless you all for trying to take care of the sick.

My mom was here less than a week. We got a referral to get her out. Good luck finding an aide. I changed her dirty sheets and blanket, i gave her a sponge bath, i washed her hair and changed her gown. Her dentures were dirty and sitting on the end table. This was around 11a.m. In the rehab wing where my mom was, it is around 20 patients to 1 aide. That's what it was when I visited because i asked a worker. There is no way that good care can be given with those numbers. No way!! I left at noon my other sister came at 7:30p.m. and she was still where I left her. She ended up with a small bedsore from sitting in urine. You people need to hire more help!!!! (Update) This review led to a call from the administrator. After she said hello, she yelled at someone to get out. I assume she was in her office. Not very professional. She blamed the doctors for sending patients that they couldn't handle then I told her to take it out with the doctors. Excuse, because my mom was there for a broken arm. It says they are a rehab facility. So i don't understand why a broken arm is beyond their scope of care giving. I felt very degraded after this call, and i kept saying I stand behind my review. She said I should have said something. How? When you can't find an aide to assist. Don't even bother using your call light button as lights were on all over the wing. I stand behind my review.

I would not recommend this home for any of your loved ones if you’re truly interested in them getting better. Our loved one wasn’t in helia even a month yet and already had 4-5 horrific bed sores that weren’t healing and all of them were caused due to neglect and poor care!! The workers always seemed to be hiding and never wanted to actually come take care of the ones needing assistance and just let them set there crying out for help. I was NOT impressed whatsoever and I have worked in nursing homes for many years and I have never came across one quite like this.

My husband just did a 6-week Rehab here. And we were very pleased with his care. The staff Was always kind. I can honestly say we will miss seeing some of there smiling faces.. Big thanks to Sabrina and Rachel for reassuring us when needed.Meals are fairly good.. Thx to all you guys and gals!!
