PALM GARDEN OF ORLANDO

This is a place I visited often to see friends & loved ones. I then became a resident because of a bad fall. I have always been very impressed with the quality of the staff, the cleanliness & care taken for safety & health. The staff are very congenial, cheerful & concerned about those they serve. And they actually do serve us with smiles on their faces & no complaints. We are treated like family who need that feeling of being cared for. All of the staff on the occupational & physical therapy team are most helpful with their expertise, kindness & compassion for the issues of each patient. It's amazing to watch the interactions. I can't thank them enough.

Palm Garden physical therapy is amazing. The therapist are so energetic dealing with mostly very elderly patients. My mother in law was an in patient who wanted to continue her therapy in this location. We are blessed that we can use them to get stronger. She gets a wonderful twice a week workout.

We were visiting a relative this afternoon. The atmosphere and staff were very positive and upbeat. Several staff members popped in to check on our relative. Everyone was helpful and reassuring. I would recommend this place highly.

I have been so happy with my experience with Palm Gardens and my mother. The people are genuinely caring and thoughtful and my mother loves the food! Such a funny thing to post but topic of conversation with my mom is how great her previous meals of the day have been😊 On a more serious note the team I met with to speak about my mother’s health care plan was so helpful and full of information. I can’t be with her all the time so it’s such a breath of fresh air to know that people are being kind and having patience with her even when I’m not around.

I highly recommend this location! Not just for the staff, but for the activities, cleanliness of the facility. It doesn't look, feel or smell like a dreaded hospital! I saw a LOT entering the facility several times a week at different times of the day. My mother just spent 4 weeks here for rehabilitation after getting a fractured back from a fall. I can't say enough nice, rewarding and positive things about the staff we had daily interactions with. The PT staff are so patient, fun, encouraging and proactive in their plans with the patients. I have sat and watched many of them several days a week with many patients! My goodness they deserve a medal!!! (Thank you Grace for your constant ear and kind, sympathetic words giving me faith!!) Kayla and Maria, in the social services office that assist with the tedious insurance paperwork on patients' cases and answering multiple questions over and over again, the nurses and cna(s) who are attentive (thank you Joy and Brenda- you're a rockstar!!!!) and friendly with the patients and their families...... they all work together to ensure the patient receives care with dignity even when they have to encourage their patient and push them a bit! Even Mr. B, the podiatrist, is so patient, attentive and personable. I noticed that after meeting him only 1x while servicing my mother. It's hard for the family member dealing with services for their loved one alone! I do feel like once my mother was discharged, I had an extremely hard time trying to arrange for the services that she was eligible for, and should be receiving, and are not at this time but that had nothing to do with the care while here. Trust the care here. If we need care again for some reason, I'm fighting for a spot here!
