PATASKALA OAKS CARE CENTER

We transferred my father here about 3 months ago. He has severe dementia. He hasn’t been able to walk or talk for over a year. He hasn’t been able to feed himself either. He is completely dependent for all his daily needs. My dad was here for 24 hours and was trying to feed himself again and having slight moments of clarity. The entire staff are some of the most dedicated, caring, devoted, honest, loving care giving individuals I’ve met in our journey. They are supportive to the family also. We have dealt with 2 other facilities that were a complete nightmare. Pataskala oaks does a lot for the residents. They care for their residents. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for long term care for a loved one. These people will truly care. This was the best decision we made for my fathers long term care.

This care center is amazing and the staff is awesome. Stephanie and Katie in the kitchen are like family to us,along with Cindy and Teresa. Just a very compassionate and caring place. it's about the care and needs that they focus on. There's activities and celebrations daily.Thank you for the excellent care you have given my dad Robert Hickman Only problem I have is when a administrator tells my dad who and what he can talk to. He has built great friendships with people there and asks about there family which he is allowed to do. No one and I mean no one has told him about their personal life etc and the rumors about that needs to stop . People need to mind their own business.

I have to say I am really not happy with the care my father received before he passed. The lack of communication with my sister and myself was concerning. They gased us over the phone, but when we showed up and surprised them, things were different. They didn't maintain his hair or keep his nails trimmed, resulting in an infection. We were never kept up to date about his health. I feel like they kissed our butt's when we showed up. The staff are thieves. My father had $250 in cash and $250 in gift cards that he wanted to give out, not knowing they aren't allowed to accept gifts. The first go round all but $50 in cash, and all gift cards were turned in. Months later, after my father passed away, we went to retrieve his property, and all the gift cards were missing, and the $50 cash was never returned. The care is subpar and they steal from the patients. BE WARE BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY.

My dad is there and they have been wonderful . The staff is friendly and they have taken such good care of him always with a smile. Jenessa the kitchen staff and Brittany just to name a few have been exceptional. No way anyone could say anything negative as his care and roommate has excellent care.We appreciate everything and everyone there for the support,compassion and care they give

Well I can relate to some of the remarks but not all. My father if well taken car of but I go regularly to visit. The only issue I have ever had was with Landry they tend to mix clothing up. But staff is great to my father. Shannon the aide I just love her personality there is a few other aide I just can not recall there names. The nursing is a little off as I am also a nurse I tend to be on the friendly side but I understand the work load can sometimes be overwhelming.
