I had the opportunity to visit Roosevelt Rehabilitation Healthcare Center for a tour today .I entered the building and it has such a beautiful presentation. The receptionist was so well spoken , professional and welcoming! The receptionist also want above and beyond to find someone to give me a tour towards the end of the administration staff day . I had the opportunity to meet Jennifer the admissions director . She was very sharp and helpful explaining the process. She is definitely called for her position. I loved the outside area they have. The dining area has a nice setting and the facility was very clean . During the tour, I also observed that the patients and long term residents there look very happy . I think my Uncle would be very happy here 🙏🏽

If I could give zero stars, I would. Letting somebody lay in their own feces and urine for 3 hours because EVERYONE is on break on floor 2? UNACCEPTIBLE! You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I was a CNA in numerous hospitals and nursing homes, so yes I have the right to call you out and post this. Then, put a perfectly capable person of getting out of bed in a diaper because you don't feel like changing them? America wonders why people get sick in bed sores, here's your answer. if it was up to me, I would change my friends location.but my hands are tied.

Last week I had the opportunity to tour this facility and was thoroughly impressed by their commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Their center's dedication to operational excellence is evident in the strategic design. The facility's layout is both efficient and welcoming, with ample, well-spaced dialysis stations that prioritize patient comfort. As a general manager of an in-home care agency I was particularly heartened to see how they so effectively balance clinical excellence with a genuine focus on the patient experience. Lexington Renal Care is absolutely a valuable asset to our healthcare landscape!

Neglect, dishonesty, deception, irresponsibility, entitlement.. All of which accurately describe the conditions as well as the character of the staff at Roosevelt. Nursing homes and rehabilitation centers frequently garner a poor reputation, it's not uncommon to turn on the news and see horror stories unfolding in these kinds of facilities. Patients feeling unwell and not getting proper care, abrasions leading to infections in the facility, patients developing bed-sores, diabetics being fed improper meals leading to complications, medication not being administered properly or being forgotten altogether, disrepect and teasing of elderly individuals who cannot see or hear.. these horror stories mimic those you see on National news headlines, usually due to a lazy nurse or irresponsible worker. At this particular facility however, I fear reality for these patients is much worse. Not only did every scenario I previously listed occur at Roosevelt, but it's not due to one or two lazy nurses, its due to an entitled and incapable administration and an overwhelming amount of their staff. The staff will carry out their duties minimally, leaving your loved one to suffer while they get paid to neglect their oaths. Multiple staff members, D---r, M----y, M------e, (First names, censored for legality) are on record, a very extensive record, lying and contradicting each other over patient care, which has directly lead to the illness, hospitalization, and even death of patients at this facility. All of which has been meticulously and extensively documented and forwarded to Br------e B------n, their DOC who has yet to comment. Roosevelt not only deserves it's bad reputation, it deserves a thorough investigation by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The nurses do not communicate well, if at all, with each other, the patients, or family members. If you are considering sending a loved one here, do not do it, for there is no love to be found here. If you have a family member or loved one who has been a victim of negligence or malpractice at this facility, my deepest apologies and condolences go out to you and you're not alone. Edit: Roosevelt has AI 5 star reviews so they don't look so bad on Google..Just an FYI, you can scan them with the same tools you'd use to detect ChatGPT. Also, they're going to either use an AI or copy and paste a response telling you to contact Mrs. S, and they'll email you back dismissing your concerns and promise something will be done, the only thing left is an investigation. Edit 2: I told you so!

I am writing about the care I see my mom is given. She is currently at this Rehab facility and she is not getting the excellent care the web site claims the patients are given. She does not receive the assistance she needs when she needs it. There always seems to be an excuse. .She should be cleaned everyday, but she's not. Teeth brushed everyday, but they are not. When family complain, they blame the patient as if they are lying. They need to take the care of their patients more seriously, however; they are not.
