Stapeley was such an amazing destination for my Father. Such an incredible community and caring staff for my Dad as he unknowingly entered the final phase of life. It was close to a year that he was a resident but felt more like many years of friendships and memories. From Peggy and the initial tour to Kathy and Dr. Okolo for all the medical guidance and needs, to Janette at the front desk who always welcomed you with a smile, to Amy the incredible and so very talented Director of Events, to Chaplain John and his words of faith and music to finally all the incredible and amazing residents. Thank you all for the memories and for making Stapeley not just an assisted living location but truly a home where every sunrise brings a new day of fun, adventure and celebration. Many thanks and blessings!

The care, patience, and professionalism at Stapeley surpassed my expectations. The staff, not just an outside service, knows and understands each resident, and handles them with remarkable wisdom. I feel so lucky, after o e poor experience, to have found Stapeley, and cannot imagine my dear receiving finer care anywhere else. Thank you, Stapeley and Brridges staff!

In January, my mother became a Personal Care resident at Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley. She moved to Stapeley from a high-end independent living facility, in large part to be closer to my husband and me. Though Stapeley is an older facility and not as fancy as the one she left, she (and we!) are finding the Stapeley community to be warmer, more welcoming and with more resident activities and higher participation levels than she experienced in her previous, far more expensive, independent living facility. Though she's only been at Stapeley a month, she has met so many interesting people from both Personal Care and Independent Living who repeatedly tell both my mother and me, "You are going to like it here!" Stapeley is clean, well-maintained and has a warm, home-like aesthetic. The Fireside dining room has very good food and a full and varied menu. Most of the staff we have encountered so far have worked at Stapeley for many years, and everyone has been kind and helpful. The nurses and on-staff doctor have been most attentive; we feel my mother is getting a high level of medical care. We feel grateful my mother has landed where she is. There is, indeed, a good vibe going on in Stapeley.

The facility is clean and well maintained but the staff at Stapeley are its best assets. The receptionist in Personal Care, the sales manager and coordinator, the nursing assistants, dining room team, and maintenance staff, all demonstrate competency, caring, and compassion. It was a difficult decision to move my mom to an assisted living facility but I’m glad I chose Stapeley.

This review is for the rehab center not the assisted living part of Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley. My father had to stay at Wesley for rehab 2 weeks after being in the hospital for 5 days. He needed a lot of assistance walking, going to the bathroom, etc. and the nurses threw him around like a sack of potatoes. They didn't manage his pain which was the worst part. I ended up hiring hourly care to stay with him there to make sure he was getting help to go to the bathroom and being taken care of in a respectable manner. From the minute he arrived he begged me to get him out of there. Upon leaving Wesley we found out that he had a fractured spine and he died 2 weeks later. I'm not sure if he had the fractured spine before entering Wesley but they way he was thrown around I am very skeptical. When it comes to the rehab facility DO NOT send your loved ones there.
